Cat's Ear Mites under the microscope
Cat's Ear Mites under the microscope🕷🕷
One of our student veterinary nurses took a video of a cat's ear mites on a microscope slide. 🕷🕷 They are about the size of a pin head and cause irritation of the cat and dog's ears. The nurse said her skin was crawling after she watched them under the microscope. 🕷🕷 Is your skin crawling after you watch this video?

To make sure your proper pooch is well-dressed, the legal requirement is that they have a collar with a tag bearing your address and name.
Watch out! Not doing so can result in fines up to £5000 and that’s worth a lot of dog tags.

As our dogs grow older, there are some things that become more likely to happen. As the years progress, there might be the opacification of certain parts of the eye and this might concern owners.
Nuclear sclerosis is a benign hardening of the lens nucleus of the eye in our elderly dogs and we tend to notice a sort of opalescent haze in the back of the eye. Fortunately, this is nothing to worry about.
Unfortunately, the way it appears shares several similarities with cataracts. A cataract is a pathological opacification of the lens and it can have many causes, one of the most important though is Diabetes Mellitus!
If you notice any change in your dog’s eyes, take them to the vet and they will be able to tell you if it’s something to worry about or just normal age related changes.
