The team at Park Veterinary Hospital received this sweet valentine from the handsome Dinky ❤️
Valentine's Day is a time for love, but did you know there are some hidden hazards for your pets?
🦴❤️ Here are a few things to keep an eye on and to keep your pets safe: ❤️🦴
🌹 Chocolate - Sweet for us, toxic for pets! Even small amounts can cause serious health problems. Keep those chocolate treats far out of reach!
🌺 Toxic Flowers - Roses, lilies, and other popular flowers can be harmful to pets if ingested. Be sure to keep bouquets in places they can’t get to!
💍 Ribbons & Bows - They’re cute, but if your pet swallows them, they can cause blockages in the digestive tract. Always dispose of them safely!
💘 Sweets & Candies - Sugar-free candies often contain xylitol, which is highly toxic to pets. Keep those treats sealed and away from their curious paws.
💡 Candles - Romantic, yes, but they pose a fire risk if knocked over by a wagging tail or a curious nose. Keep them out of reach!
Let’s make sure our pets have a safe and love-filled Valentine’s Day! ❤️🐾
