Koda 💙 a big, bouncy bundle of fun. Koda is a Labrador who absolutely loves his walks but also enjoys a snooze on the sofa. He can get a bit over excited around other dogs but has found a good walking buddy with our dog Copper and they go on some great adventures together.

Elphie 💛 look at these gorgeous big eyes trying to convince us it’s dinner time. Elphie is a Maltese Poodle who loves nothing more than a bit of fuss. Bonus points if it’s a nice day and she can have her belly rubs laid outside in the sunshine!
If Josh could leave a review, this would be it! He gets SO excited when we arrive and he always puts a smile on our faces. You would never know that he’s an older boy, he certainly doesn’t act his age!
We have another ginger spaniel in the mix, meet Bertie! Bertie is a clever boy and loves to figure out how to get treats out of new puzzles and toys. We got to spend the evening cuddling with him whilst his parents were out at a party.
How handsome is Charlie 😍. At only 9 months old he’s stolen our hearts, how can you not adore these ears. He’s trying hard with his training and is so clever for such a young dog, we can’t wait to see what trick he’s learnt next!
Remember we don’t just walk dogs, we are also here to look after your cats and small furry friends too! This is Chloe who we recently looked after for a week. Here she is in her favourite place, on the ironing board!
Meet Josh the Jack Russell 💙 Josh is an older gentleman but you would never guess it! He still loves to sprint around the garden, wreck tennis balls and do tricks for chicken. We are really enjoying getting to know him.
Hi from Kira 👋 Kira is a very lively, very clever and very happy Springer Spaniel. We had a lovely time together at the weekend when her parents were out for the day.
Meet Marco 💙 Marco is a Beagle who likes to speak his mind and try and convince you that’s he’s staaaaaaaarving at all times. We’ve had the pleasure of staying with him over the weekend so his Mum and Dad could get married! 💍💒
When we aren’t out walking we love to keep learning. We’ve been taking Copper to agility for 9 months now and safe to say we’re hooked, we love it! Look how brilliantly he is doing! He enjoys extra snacks at the end too 🍗🥕🧀

Those ears 😍 this is Win, a French Bulldog and the newest member of Paws and Puddles. He always looks super cool and loves posing for the camera. He’s been enjoying making new friends and has a brilliant time running round with the rest of the boys.
Say hi to Alfie 👋Alfie is one of the happiest, cuddliest and easy going dogs you could meet. He’s a Cavapoo who has plenty of energy but also loves snuggling on the sofa. He never fails to make us smile and here he is getting ready for a treat!
Today we celebrate dogs in yellow.
If you see a dog wearing yellow it means they are asking for space. This could be for a number of reasons, they might be nervous, scared, unwell or injured or recovering from a procedure. By respecting this, the dog won’t feel the need to protect themselves. Even well meaning, friendly people and dogs approaching can be really frightening for some dogs.
We look after a few anxious dogs. By giving them the support they need it really is amazing to see how much their confidence grows and you can help them to do this too.

Smiles from Romeo 💚Romeo is the other Daschund in the group and is a little dog with a big personality! He is besides himself with excitement when he realises he’s going on a walk and squeals all the way to the park. Despite his small size he runs around with the bigger dogs and he never fails to put a smile on our faces.
How could you say no to this face? This is Tizer, a crossbreed who was rehomed from Millhouse animal Sanctuary mayfield road. Tizer is a big, strong boy who can be over enthusiastic when meeting people, so we are working on calm greetings and doing lots of tricks to keep his clever brain busy. Tizer gets quite worried around other dogs so we have lovely solo visits whilst he builds his confidence. Here he is enjoying a spot of sunbathing ☀️
The other ginger spaniel we know and love is Nina. She was one of our very first customers and at the start was a very nervous girl, but now she loves exploring and making new friends! We are so proud of how much her confidence has grown. As much as she loves her new purple coat, she’s looking forward to some spring weather!

I, Megan, started the business after building experience taking care of animals for my friends, family, and neighbours, and also doing some dog walking for a local company. When I was a child I begged Santa for a dog, but sadly he never delivered. However, I was lucky enough to have fish, guinea pigs, a rabbit, and a cat as pets. I did a bunch of research on dog training and behaviour, and once I had the chance, got my own puppy named Copper to train. Nowadays, I volunteer with a local dog training company and am starting to get some qualifications in this field.
Tom has been around dogs his whole life and has also worked on farms taking care of animals, both in the UK and abroad. He used to walk dogs for a local company before joining forces with me at Paws and Puddles.
Together we trained Copper and when we’re not out walking, we keep his clever brain busy with fun activities like Agility, Gundog training, mantrailing, obedience, and teaching him tricks. Copper is a super active pup who just loves to run around, especially in muddy puddles, but he also enjoys snuggling up on the sofa with his favourite humans.
Guess what we do when we aren’t walking your dogs? We walk our dog! Here we all are at our favourite place, the beautiful Lake District!
Oh Ernie 💙 Ernie is both our youngest and smallest customer! He is only 6 months old and a Miniature Daschund, so makes the other dogs look like giants! Those little legs don’t hold him back though and he still races across the field with the others 🐎
This bushy tailed boy is Huey, a Springer Spaniel x German Shepherd. Huey has tonnes of energy and loooooves a muddy puddle so is very happy when out representing the Paws and Puddles brand!
This little ball of fluff and fun is Rudy. He’s one of our youngest dogs, a 7 month old Cockapoo. He’s learning more each day and it’s lovely seeing his confidence grow on walks 🐾

Ana was our very first walk customer! She is a Beagle x Spaniel so is very thorough on walks, making sure that no leaf goes unsniffed!
Meet Copper, official walk tester, puddle finder and boss of Paws and Puddles Pet Care. Copper is 18 months old and a Working Cocker Spaniel. He loves to be out and about, sniffing, running, swimming and making new friends. He is a very gentle dog and looks after new dogs in the group, checking they are ok and showing them the ropes.

It’s been a busy at Paws and Puddles! We’ve been a bit quiet on here lately as we’ve been having a great time with lots of paws, but thankfully a few less puddles! Plenty of old faces as well as new ones. See some of our highlights from the last month.

Paws and Puddles on tour! Yesterday we went to Crufts for the first time! Brilliant day where we saw Hoopers, Golden Retriever Display Team, Police Dogs Demonstration , Flyball, Agility and Heelwork to Music. Most importantly though, we did plenty of shopping for Copper!
