Feeling sad there’s no knit night tonight, but I’ve done lots of sit down work in the studio today. I’ve made your orders, popped some new stock out at and put together lots more seagulls for .

We’ll be taking a short break once the babe arrives. There may be slightly longer dispatch times over the summer as we adjust to our new family life and as Mr. SL takes over my online shops. We had a trial day of making orders over FaceTime and it went well (only one argument) and you know I’ve been training him up over the years!

If you’ve got any projects that you’re hoping to knit over the summer, get those orders in now so I have plenty of time to pack them! 🌞

Had a couple of days off to recover after all the fun of my sisters hen do, but I have been knitting away behind the scenes and counting down the days to our new arrival.

My new collection is almost finished and I’m excited to plan the set build for it. If you didn’t already know, my degree is in commercial photography, which has come in super useful over the years, especially for my Under the Sea and Beside the Seaside patterns.

My new pattern book will break away from the waves and take to the land. It’ll be released at our big A/W shows later this year. 💚

Dreaming of the seaside as I pack the biggest wholesale order for ! I may be taking some time off over the summer, but Erica will be fully stocked with you’re favourite seaside kits.🦞

We’ll be taking a year off our annual Cromer window display, but hope to be back next year - I’ve already started coming up with ideas for it!

Meet my latest A-Z pattern, the Fleay’s Barred Frog. Sometimes a pattern comes together so easily and I was pretty proud of how I worked out a new system for the legs which includes a flap system. I know, it’s ground breaking 🐸 🙌
