Did you know our nurses hold FREE weight clinics for your furry animals?
Animals who are overweight have a reduced life-expectancy and will have an increased risk of the following conditions:
* Arthritis and joint pain
* Diabetes mellitus
* Heart disease
* High blood pressure
* Breathing difficulties and snoring
* Exercise intolerance and heat stress
* Pancreatitis
* Urinary issues
* Tumours
Insurance companies may also decline possible claims for diseases/injuries that could have been prevented by keeping your pets at a healthy weight.
Ring 0114 2531313 to book a FREE weight clinic appointment with one of our nurses and your pet could receive a ‘well done’ rosette once they achieve their weight loss goal and thereafter long term support!🐶🐈🐰

Update 28.11 - We believe we have found the owners for the cats.
Sadly we have had two deceased cats brought in yesterday and today that have suffered from severe disfigurement and limb loss and were both found round the Birley area. We are yet to find one of the cats owners, she is a tortoiseshell female who does look quite young. We haven't been able to find a microchip in her but due to the disfigurement this could have come out.
We are sorry to share such sad news - If you have any information or think she could be yours please give us a call on 0114 2531313.
