Just to let you all know that there will be a slight price increase of £2 per groom for all future appointments.

Morning.

In preparation for my return to work in January, I have decided to do a couple of days throughout December. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to fit everyone in, so I have decided to do only full grooms for those who I know haven’t had a groom since my maternity. (If this applies to you, then please get in touch)

I will be back to full working capacity from the 17th of January, working Wednesdays, Thursdays, and one Saturday a month.
Alternatively, I recommend contacting Short, Bark and Sides grooming at Thorpe Hesley.

Hi everyone.

Just a quick update for you all.
I will be coming back to work a couple of days a week in December, but i will only be doing small breed dogs as I can't do any heavy lifting for a few more months.

If anyone has gone to a new groomer and is happy to stay with them, then can you please let me know as my wait time for an appointment will be a little longer than before as I will only be working part time.

I will get in touch over the next couple of weeks to get people booked in.

Just a little update as I've had quite a few messages about when I will be returning to work.

I am hoping to be back part-time in December, but I've had a few complications whereby the doctor will not sign me off as fit to work until at least mid November.

I understand that sometimes customers may need to rearrange or cancel appointments but please be considerate and give me as much notice as you can so that I can allocate the space to other customers.

I am unable to fill appointments at last minute and as a small independent business, I unfortunately don’t get paid for no shows and cancellations.

You may think that it’s ok as you have only done it once or twice, but please remember that if 2 or 3 people cancel each week, it is a significant amount of money for me to loose.
Unfortunately I have had to make the decision to refuse to rebook customers who dont show/ cancel more than twice.

I don't like to rant or complain, but I’m trying to run a business and it’s not fair on myself or other customers that are waiting for appointments.

Just to let you know that my last working day will be Thursday 24th August (which is only 8 weeks away 😱), and my appointments are limited throughout the summer holidays.

I'm not sure how long I will be having off for my maternity yet as it just depends on my recovery, but when I do return, it will only be on a part time basis.

I will keep you all updated if anything changes.

Hi everyone.

Just wanted to provide an update on my baby news👶

I have been to the hospital today and they have a couple of concerns with me and the baby which has resulted in me being advised I am unable to lift and groom any large/ heavy dogs until after the baby is born.

This has come as a bit of a shock to me as I feel fine but I just can't risk anything happening.
I hope you can all understand and if you have any questions then please just message me.

We are going to be BIG sisters ❤️ 👶

We are so excited and baby Durrans is due in September 🥰

I will be taking some time off around having Baby Durrans but I wanted to let you all know that I have been in touch with a few of my groomer friends that will be happy to help me out while I am off. So please do not worry as everything will be fine and your dogs will be still be taken care of while I’m away. 

I have made a list of them below if you would like to contact them directly to make some bookings in advance of my maternity leave but please know as long as everything goes to plan I hope to be back working part time before Christmas.

Also if you do decide to contact any of these then please let them know that I've recommended them.

They are taking on new customers and are offering 10% off.

▪️Cassie's dog grooming and pet supplies- Foxhill.
Will take on bath only appointments.
(This is where I worked before).

Will help out where she can but very busy.
