Autumn and winter can be a dangerous time for our pets. Due to the darker evenings, road traffic accidents (RTAs) are more likely to happen at this time of year. To keep you and your pets as safe as possible, our vets have shared their top tips 🌃

Please look after your pups for the next few nights while the fireworks are going off.
Already seeing lots of Facebook posts from people whose dogs have run off because they’ve been spooked.
Please keep your dogs on a lead, even when you let them out into your own garden. You’d be amazed at how a dog can react when it gets frightened and decides to bolt.
Hopefully it’ll all be over in a few days 😫

Please remember, it's not just temperature, humidity also affects dogs, especially short nosed breeds.
