ADOPTED
CYRUS 18mth male Terrier Cross.
Sweet and playful little Cyrus is looking for a new home.
He is friendly but submissive with people he meets but will be come more confident with more socialisation.
He hasn't shown any adverse reactions to other dogs he has met and just seems to want to play with them all.
Cyrus loves playing ball.
He knows some basic commands like sit and paw but does need further training on his lead as he does pull slightly.
A very affectionate and cuddly young boy who needs the right family to give him lots of love and attention.

MEG 4 yrs Female FBD.
This gorgeous little girl needs a loving new home after being returned.
Meg has no issues with dogs in kennels or outside but will protect her owner in her home.
So Meg needs to be an only dog in the home.
She adores attention and loves cuddles.
She needs a little more lead training as does still pull sometimes but overall she walks well.
Enjoys playing with humans with toys but won't play alone.
Meg knows to sit and wait for treats and is gentle.
She needs someone to be attentive to just her and give her lots of cuddles.
We would prefer someone with FBD experience and no small children.

NELSON Approx 2 yrs Male Lhasa x
Gorgeous little Nelson needs an attentive new home where he can be the centre of attention.
He adores human interaction and wants to be with you.
He can be left without any issues but will bark to let you know he wants attention.
He doesn't seem overly barky in kennels when left.
Nelson will jump up so probably best without young children.
He loves treats and food and is gentle when taking them.
He does pull slightly on his lead but given his size it's manageable.
Nelson doesn't show much interest in toys or other dogs.
He will need regular grooming.
A very sweet and loveable little dog.

HARRY 5 mths male Lurcher Cross
Stunning young Harry needs an energetic and patient new home
He is a typical playful pup who wants to investigate everything.
Harry loves cuddles and attention and treats.
He is learning some basic commands and will sit and give paw. He also will bring toys back when playing.

Whilst till learning to walk on a lead he is doing well and walks quite nicely most of the time.
He will need further training in everything.
With other dogs he has met he just wants to play so any resident dog will need to be of a similar nature.
Harry is a typical pup with puppy behaviour so anyone adopting with children will need to be aware of puppy teeth and mouthing and be prepared to work with him.
A delightful young dog who needs the right family to show him what's expected of him.

DARRYL approx 1yr old male Malinois Cross.
The loving and playful boy has been let down again by humans and is desperate for a loving new home who will take the time to understand his needs and work with him.
Darryl is young, excitable and needs further training.
He knows some basic commands and does respond to gentle training.
He knows sit and paw. He does sn**ch treats but when You say "gentle" he takes them nicely.
Darryl is a very strong boy and needs work on his lead training.
He is a "jumpy greeter" when he first meets people but it's pure excitement. We would recommend no children under 14 for this reason.
Darryl loves a ball and will entertain himself with one.
He needs an experienced home where people will work with his training needs and understand him.
Darryl is very friendly, loving and such a happy dog he just needs someone to show him what's needed for him to be the perfect dog.

DORA 3 yrs Female Rottie.
This sweet girl needs an experienced and loving new family who will give her lots of affection and treats
Dora came to us in a very emaciated condition and we are working on building her up. We do feel she would do better in a home with her weight gain as she finds kennels a bit stressful. She is currently on 3/4 meals a day and this will need to be maintained till she is at an ideal weight.
She is friendly and playful with toys but can be a little possessive over them so we would prefer no small children.
Dora is a strong girl who pulls on her lead so will need further training although she does know some commands like sit.
She is very gentle with treats and food.
She can be a bit picky with which dogs she likes but overall is good with them as long as they aren't in her face.
Dora needs an experienced and calm home where she can be trained and nurtured and where hopefully she can forget her past treatment.

DAISY 1+ Years female SBT
Daisy needs a patient and calm home with a good sized garden for her to explore.
She is quite an independent girl who likes to explore and sniff her environment but will come for attention. She adores belly rubs and attention when she wants it.
She walks nicely unless excited and then will pull.
Daisy would be best as an only dog with someone to build her training and her confidence.
She isnt really interested in toys and but has developed a love of treats, she is very gentle with them.
She is a nice natured dog who just likes to do her own thing.
We would prefer older children.

BUDDY 18mths Male whippet/saluki
Friendly and sweet boy who needs a new home where he will get attention and training.
Buddy is very gentle in everything he does except he will jump up for attention.
He is currently on a weight gain plan which will need to be continued.
We think he would be better placed with older children as given his placid nature young excitable children may be too much for him.
Buddy has wanted to play with all dogs he has met so far.
He does pull on his lead but given he loves treats training should be possible.
Buddy is a delightful, placid boy who just needs some attention.

ALFRED 5-6 Yrs Male rough coated Lurcher.
This stunning lad needs an active and loving new home.
Alfred can be a little nervous with strangers but once he is used to you his true personality shines through.
He is playful, giddy, affectionate and extremely elegant.
He does pull on his lead initially but with lots of exercise and stimulation this should improve.
Alfred knows some basic commands and is treat orientated.
He is clean and calm in his kennel. Outside he is playful and giddy and gets excited.
We would prefer children over 14 yrs so he doesn't get over whelmed with excited children.
Alfred needs long leisurely walks and lots of play time in a large secure garden.
A truly elegant and beautiful boy who needs someone to love him.

ROBYN 3-4yrs female SBT
This friendly and affectionate girl is looking for a loving new family.
She loves cuddles and attention once she knows you so will need someone who can spend time with her.
Robyn knows some basic commands but will need further training on her lead walking as she does try to nip the lead whilst walking but we are working on this.
She will jump up to get attention so we would prefer children over 12 please.
Robyn appears to like other dogs when outside but can be a little territorial indoors so would be better as an only dog initially.
She will play with toys with you but prefers to just have cuddles.
She is very gentle with food and treats
A loving and sweet dog with a couple of quirks which need working on.

Now the wet weather is here we are really struggling to dry bedding.
If anyone has any of the following we could really use them.
Thick blankets
Throws
Fleece blankets
Duvets (not feather)
Towels.
We don't use sheets or duvet covers, pillows or pillow cases.
We are open 9am till 5pm 7 days a week for drop off.

GREGG 2yrs Male Terrier x medium sized
Lovely Lad Gregg is looking for an active but loving new home.
Gregg walks quite well on his lead pulling occasionally.
He loves his food and treats and is very gentle with them.
He doesn't really want to play with toys.
Gregg does jump up so we would prefer no children or older over 14 please.
Gregg is vocal when he sees people and dogs. He whines for attention but he has shown no aggression to other dogs.
A garden would be preferred for Gregg.

This friendly and attention loving little girl needs a loving new home with adopters who can give her the training she needs.
Dakota can be picky with other dogs so would be best as an only dog or one where careful introductions can be done.
She doesn't appear to know any commands and pulls on her lead.
Dakota isn't very interested in toys and seems to prefer human attention.
She is very gentle with food and treats.

TILLY 4 Yrs Female Boxer x
Beautiful, friendly and bouncy Tilly needs an active new home.
Tilly loves human attention and will jump up so for that reason we would prefer older children or adult only.
Tilly needs lots of interaction and an active family.
She needs further training on the lead as does pull but does know some basic commands.
She does bark at other dogs on her lead but it's with excitement as she wants to play with them.
Tilly isn't interested in toys.
A really lovely girl for the right family who have large dog/boxer experience.
