We are a small, family-run, professional grooming service for all breeds of cat and dog. When each pet arrives at the salon, we give him or her the individual attention they deserve - we don't have cages or queues to best minimise the stress on your furry friends and give them a proper pampering session! 🐾 We have been furiously hard at work getting everyone's submissions in for our charity Christmas calendars...and I'm thrilled to announce I've just emailed them off to print! A massive thank you to the spectacular Simon Schofield for designing us a front cover, and also to everyone who has submitted snaps of their furry friends and placed an order!

The proceeds from the cat calendars will go to Cat-CHING Sheffield, and those from the dog calendar will go to Saving Saints Rescue UK so they can continue to do their incredible work helping better the lives of animals everywhere. ❤️

We're Hiring! - Trainee Cat and Dog Groomer at Purrfect and Pooch

We are looking for someone who loves animals, is willing to learn and would like to start a career in animal grooming, here in our fully equipped grooming salon in Eckington.

Full training will be given (approximately 4-6 weeks) and flexible working hours are available. Upon successful completion of full training a basic salary with potential for bonuses, paid holidays and a share option will be available for the right candidate.

🐈 Getting Purrsonal 🐈 It’s twice as common for people to be allergic to cats than dogs, but did you know it’s not the fur or hair that causes it? Usually, the triggers are minute proteins found in a feline’s saliva, urine, and dander. Therefore even ‘hypoallergenic’ cats such as the hairless Sphynx, could cause an adverse reaction. Avoiding the source of the allergen is one way to guarantee you won’t have a flare-up, but if you do, the symptoms may be relieved by antihistamines and corticosteroid nasal sprays. There are solutions out there, and a HEPA filter may help keep that furry friend in your life! ❤
