Rainbow Guinea Pigs

All black piggies all merge into one.
This is tiny pig, for scale the other is her sibling.
Currently in temporary accommodation until tomorrow.

After 3 days sort of sleeping on the sofa.
Getting up every half an hour to check on sows due to pig.
All delivered safe and well, only two needed a rub to get them breathing.
The surprise was the tiniest little thing ever born. I thought it was a black slug running through the herd. The fastest slug I had ever seen.
I then saw mum in the corner delivering a black baby and knew it was her’s, ONE INCH LONG!
I put it with mum who decided she had had enough and legged it.
I got her penned in, fed and watered and she calmed down.
Two normal sized siblings to compete with
As a first time mum she has been amazing and I am happy to say the tiddler survived and is now thriving and incredibly cute!

Day 2. Babies doing well.
My beautiful self black gave birth to 4 little ones, at 4 am!
Glad I was there as the last two came out one behind the other really fast, one took a few minutes to regulate its respiration rate, but a quick gentle rub and it was breathing properly.
Got to be dedicated, and constantly tired!

The babies are nearly ready and I am currently contacting you to choose your new babies.
If you no longer require Guinea pigs, or have sourced them from elsewhere, that is ok but can you please let me know as soon as possible.
If you haven’t heard from me, please get in touch.
I do not want to disappoint one family by keeping piggies for someone who no longer wants them.

You can’t miss the magnificent mummy with her magnificent SEVEN.
Didn’t she do well raising all of them.
I have been pumping food into 6-7 times a day!

The newest babies are 1 week old and exploring their new space having left maternity.
Actually they are all lost and calling mummy.
