The team have been back with a BANG!

The whole team have been super busy today in sessions and catching up with messages and clients as best we can so please bear with us as we continue to catch up!

Here is Jess on today's sessions one to one with gorgeous boy Georgie at Dinton - he did so well even with how busy it was today and his owner really enjoyed the session!

Time for a HolistiCamp 2024 throwback!

Here is stunning Vulric relaxing in between our workshops! We make sure in between our sessions to give you and your dogs time to process, relax and take in all we've taught you as well as get some refreshments. This gives you and your dog a chance to relax and enjoy the weekend without it being too intense for everyone.

As you can see Vulric very much enjoyed the downtime and it was so lovely to see this boy relaxed and enjoying himself in such an new and strange environment!

Tools don’t teach a heel, training does 💪🏻

So why do we recommend slip leads?
1. Clarity
^slip leads are either pressure on or pressure off which makes it really clear for dogs to understand

2. Safety
^especially in the learning process, if a dog makes a mistake, a slip lead generally provides an owner enough control to manage that situation safely

3. Versatile
^a slip lead also comes in many forms which makes it a versatile tool for owners to use. You can get slip collars, different thicknesses and leads that can be changed into a figure of 8 lead as well

Despite our preferences, we are firm believers in utilizing the best tool for the dog we are working with and so you’ll see dogs with an array of different tools on depending on what works best for them and their owners!

Dogs are predominantly social animals but that doesn't mean that they NEED dog friends. Some dog prefer to simply ignore other dogs and some enjoy being around other dogs and find it as a big confidence boost to be around other dogs.

CHRISTMAS CLOSURE!

We are now CLOSED for the Christmas holidays! It is rare we fully close our doors and Christmas is the one time of year we take some much needed time to rest and refresh ourselves. No messages or emails will be being monitored or responded to during this time. We'll be prioritizing time on Friday 3rd January to respond to any messages that have been sent over this period.

Our website will remain open for bookings, so if you want to book a session, you can do so directly through our website.

A lovely frosty training walk with Rufus and Bella!

Week 5 of our Obedience Course and our dogs and their owners did so well! With a lot of rain and wind, it was not easy conditions to work in but everyone did such a good job and we are so proud of the progress they’ve all made! This week they’ll be taking their test - keep an eye on our social media to see how they all get on!
