🐶 NEWBIES 🐶

The small army are being introduced… long time coming🙈 Basil, Betsy, Patsy and Lily 🐶 these guys started in the new year with a couple of practice meets before the new start in the new year!

A couple of weeks of LOTS of treats, being barked at and ball throwing I can say we are all now happy with each other! Lots of cuddles and fuss every lunch time 🥰 I’ve never met 4 dogs who didn’t belive me when I say there are no more treats left in the bag😂

🏡 HOUSE SITTING 🏡

Just letting customers new and existing, I’m backing off from house sitting this year as I’m needed a bit more at home so I can’t be away for 2 months straight like last summer! This also applies for the length of stays so a week max maybe 10 days at a push.

I will have a few spaces but it will be limited. I’m still available for dog walks and let outs if you have a family member or friend staying with the dog(s) over night, cat care and pony care so it’s just over night stays that is limited.

Sorry for the change and as always I will try and help where and when I can ☺️

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐴🐶

First weekly update of 2025 and it’s been a cold one 🥶 coats and jumpers were needed thats for sure! Also being the first week meant that it was full gang back together, super busy with walkies and horses!

The boys have had the most chilled week of pampering, duvet days and field days which I feel was much needed for them as they work so hard. 1 ride out with Jaffa and Sidney but a short one because of the ice 🐴 🥶

The dogs loved having all their friends back! Hector and Bow made a new friendship on Friday 🥰 new sniffs and lots of adventures. As you’ll see in the pictures there are 4 new faces that’ll I’ll introduce this week coming 🐶 Lolly met some new big friends and she’s was so happy - don’t think Wilma was too impressed with another Labrador to run around with😂

This is my last week with Rafi and Tiger 🐱 after a month of looking after them, they’ve had a cozy week inside - they have access to outside but it was warmer inside than out 😆

🐶 NEWBIE 🐶

Start as we mean to go on… meet Hector😍🐾 this handsome boy joined just before Christmas and is getting into full swing of have all his new friend 🐶

Hector is a Korthals Griffon, which is a rare breed so he’s a special boy! He loves his walks and he goes out beating/shooting with his owner so most walks are spent sniffing out hedges for any flying friends 😂

Hector refuses to jump into his owners car but first time I opened the truck he was straight in, ready for his new walkies 🥰

🐶 NEWBIE 🐶

Of course the only way I can start the year is with a new doggie😍 Lolly the Labrador puppy💕 isn’t she just gorgeous!!!

Lolly is joining us for socialising and meeting doggies at this critical age to feel confident and knowledgeable in later life! She loved meeting Sage, Teddy and Pesto. Also the 3 ‘grown ups’ were the best role models today and welcomed Lolly to the craziness😂

We took it at Lolly’s pace, started with meeting Sage. After feeling confident and had a play together and also working out some basic ground rules, Lolly was confident so I let her meet Pesto and Teddy. She was confused by Teddy’s wiggly bum but soon realised he was quite fun! Pesto didn’t take too much notice of her even though she wanted to give out kisses😆 then a cool down where all the ‘grown up’ doggos went back in the truck and me and Lily had a short wonder to decompress and her to take it all in 🥰

🐶 HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY TEDDY 🐶

Teddy joined the business at the start of the summer, he was a timid and very shy boy who I didn’t think would be comfortable with my lot but within a couple of weeks of walks with me and growing his confidence with me and the boys he’s a huge part of the team!!

Sage, Buzz, Bow and Scofi are Teddys best friend! His little tow taps in the truck when we arrive to put up everyone😍 he’s so confident meeting people, coming onto the yard and playing with the days!

Happiest birthday buddy! We love you lots 🐾💙

🐶 HAPPY CHRISTMAS DOGGIES - Part 3🐶

3rd and final visit to the secure field for the dogs Christmas present! Some nice and naughty behaviour (Bentley trying to hump dogs 🙄😂) but lots of fun had! Also joined by Tilly dog who’s not been out for walkies for ages, she loved seeing Riley and her old team😍

Muddy paws but happy faces!🥰 The field had a bark chip dog bone in the middle, a tried attempt to get a good picture 😂

Wishing all the doggies and owners the best Christmas, Thankyou all so much for my lovely gifts and cards too I can’t wait to open them all on Christmas morning 💙

Fun day and many many bags of treat and carrots! I’m so happy with how this year has been and I honestly can’t THANK my amazing customers enough for trusting me with your pets for walks, house sitting and all equine care 🐶🐴

🐶 HAPPY CHRISTMAS DOGGIES🐶 - Part 2

The dogs got to go to The Hilltop field today and LOVED it! Lots of new smell, running around and sticks to pick up🥰

Maggie didn’t know what to do at first as she’s been doing so well off lead but her recall still was super even with more freedom! Riley ended the walk looking the same colour as Pesto😂 At the end of the walk as we were driving out we met 2 Emu’s that the dogs were very interested in… different looking pheasant 😂

Last visit there is next Friday as a last Christmas present for the doggies 🥰 I am thinking of booking it out once a month on a Saturday for a Super Saturday walkies, if anyone would be interested in booking their dog in?

Also, please can everyone let me know when I’m needed over Christmas or when you finish work and need me to start back in January ☺️

🐶HAPPY CHRISTMAS DOGGIES🐶 - Part 1

My Christmas present to the doggies is an adventure trip the the big big big secure field!! 🐶 the dogs had SO much fun today. Running around, getting muddy and loving all the new sniffs 🥰

No swimming today BUT I’ve promised the swimmers that I’ll book it in the summer for a swim 🏊 the woodland was so much fun and so many sticks to pick up and all the spaniels especially loved the woods and the stream running through it! 😆

Mac didn’t want to leave (look at last picture to try and spot him😂 Alfie and his little legs kept up so well! Pip who is antisocial is now a social butterfly 😍

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐴🐶

A lovely week to have Teddy back from his holidays and Philo back permanently on a Monday and Tuesday 🥰 he got introduced to a few new members and had the best time with the gang! So nice to have him back❤️

We did different walks this week to change things up and go on adventures! Also helps keep on top of manners and walking on the lead🐶

The horses had such a busy week last week that I didn’t get chance to take many pictures🐴 they were out nearly everyday😴

Pesto, Jackson and Dougie joined us on Friday which they all had a great time except Jackson got in a strop with me as I wasn’t giving him all the attention 🙄😂

I hope everyone has stayed safe and inside this weekend after the storm ☔️ 🍃

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐴🐶

A late post - which I apologise for!! Been a very busy weekend 🙈

Last week was a VERY wet and muddy week! After snow and storm Bert the dogs were all brown after their walks 😆🙈 Alfie and Pip had the best time in a group walkies, Pip can be quite bossy and loves the sound of his own voice but soon learnt that barking doesn’t always make you get your own way especially when the spaniels have the ball😂 Teddy claimed the new ball at the secure field!😆 Sparrow had the day with us and the craziness! Ended the week with the feral spaniels and Pesto 😍

Also I met some(4) newbies who are joining in January just for let outs but we are going to build up the visits over December so the doggies are happy with me seeing them everyday🥰🐶

🐶 KENNEL COUGH 🐶

Just a post to make people aware, kennel cough is going around!! I’ve had 2 dogs go down with it. My beds and pickup is disinfectant regularly and other dogs are fine. But please just be aware of any symptoms such as;

🐶A dry, hacking cough - Retching or gagging
🐶A runny nose
🐶A high temperature
🐶A reduced appetite

🐾PLEASE avoid contact with other dogs
🐾PLEASE contact dog walkers or care givers of dogs.
🐾PLEASE keep a close eye on your doggies to make sure they are okay!

Ways to help for a speedy recovery;

🐕Keep them hydrated
🐕Make sure they get enough rest
🐕Give them lots of love and attention
🐕Avoid exercise, which can make their cough worse

Make sure all vaccinations are up to date especially kennel cough jab. Dog walks will carry on but this post is to make owners aware of the signs and help prevent 🐶

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐶🐴

Apologies for last weeks post not being posted… it was a stressful week nonetheless!! Book the secure field at 1:30pm and not leave until 7pm, with dogs having to be picked up like they were at nursery 😂 all exceptionally behaved and a MASSIVE Thankyou to all my amazing customers for helping last Thursday🥰

A snow week this week which was chilly… very chilly and very fun for the doggies!! Snow makes working with horses a bit harder as it limits time out in the field as snow compacts in the feet and riding on the roads can be risky but the boys have enjoyed it with time that they didn’t want to come in from the field because it was so much fun🙄

Many owners texted me on Tuesday or Wednesday saying dogs wouldn’t even go for a wee in their garden but come on a walk and play with snowballs 😆 definitely got their owners wrapped around their paws 🐾

A week of fun but can forget cuddles with Luna 🐱 of course she got herself in the wars just as her owner was going on holiday but lots of cuddles and food has made her happy 🥰

WELL… the Christmas treat has gone down so so so well I’ve now had to book another session just so I can fit everyone in🥰 Friday 13th I have it booked so a couple of spaces are available 🐶

GREAT NEWS!! So I’ve been able to book the field for more than 6 doggies so a couple more spaces are added to each date 🎉🐶

🐶 TRAINING 🐶 I’ve been working with Sage on recall, heel work and retrieving. She’s changed so much, still has her teenage moments of ‘I don’t want to’ but she’s willing and changed so much over the past couple of months. After a busy summer we’ve been a bit lapse with the training with house sitting, house move and general life but this week we’ve got back to it before this shooting season really kicks off!🐶🦆 As seen in my stories I do scrub up on manners even on group walks. Practicing gate manners, waiting, recall and patience! I am opening to 1-2-1 training including heel work, recall, reactivity, manners and working (retrieving and hunting). #training #dogtraining #qualified #dogwalking #workingdog #workingcockerspaniel
