🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐴🐶

A late post - which I apologise for!! Been a very busy weekend 🙈

Last week was a VERY wet and muddy week! After snow and storm Bert the dogs were all brown after their walks 😆🙈 Alfie and Pip had the best time in a group walkies, Pip can be quite bossy and loves the sound of his own voice but soon learnt that barking doesn’t always make you get your own way especially when the spaniels have the ball😂 Teddy claimed the new ball at the secure field!😆 Sparrow had the day with us and the craziness! Ended the week with the feral spaniels and Pesto 😍

Also I met some(4) newbies who are joining in January just for let outs but we are going to build up the visits over December so the doggies are happy with me seeing them everyday🥰🐶

🐶 KENNEL COUGH 🐶

Just a post to make people aware, kennel cough is going around!! I’ve had 2 dogs go down with it. My beds and pickup is disinfectant regularly and other dogs are fine. But please just be aware of any symptoms such as;

🐶A dry, hacking cough - Retching or gagging
🐶A runny nose
🐶A high temperature
🐶A reduced appetite

🐾PLEASE avoid contact with other dogs
🐾PLEASE contact dog walkers or care givers of dogs.
🐾PLEASE keep a close eye on your doggies to make sure they are okay!

Ways to help for a speedy recovery;

🐕Keep them hydrated
🐕Make sure they get enough rest
🐕Give them lots of love and attention
🐕Avoid exercise, which can make their cough worse

Make sure all vaccinations are up to date especially kennel cough jab. Dog walks will carry on but this post is to make owners aware of the signs and help prevent 🐶

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐶🐴

Apologies for last weeks post not being posted… it was a stressful week nonetheless!! Book the secure field at 1:30pm and not leave until 7pm, with dogs having to be picked up like they were at nursery 😂 all exceptionally behaved and a MASSIVE Thankyou to all my amazing customers for helping last Thursday🥰

A snow week this week which was chilly… very chilly and very fun for the doggies!! Snow makes working with horses a bit harder as it limits time out in the field as snow compacts in the feet and riding on the roads can be risky but the boys have enjoyed it with time that they didn’t want to come in from the field because it was so much fun🙄

Many owners texted me on Tuesday or Wednesday saying dogs wouldn’t even go for a wee in their garden but come on a walk and play with snowballs 😆 definitely got their owners wrapped around their paws 🐾

A week of fun but can forget cuddles with Luna 🐱 of course she got herself in the wars just as her owner was going on holiday but lots of cuddles and food has made her happy 🥰

WELL… the Christmas treat has gone down so so so well I’ve now had to book another session just so I can fit everyone in🥰 Friday 13th I have it booked so a couple of spaces are available 🐶

GREAT NEWS!! So I’ve been able to book the field for more than 6 doggies so a couple more spaces are added to each date 🎉🐶

🎄🐶 A CHRISTMAS TREAT 🐶🎄

A little Christmas treat for the doggies, I’ve booked the Woodland field at Shotteswell Secure Dog Field on the 10th December with 6 spaces and 20th December 3 spaces for this walk!

My regular dogs will be walked outside this slot if space goes quickly or are booked into this slot☺️

I’m opening up this walk and wanting to do this visit maybe once a month to mix up things for the dogs - new smells, new place and new things to see!

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐴🐶

A lovely week of happy doggies and horses!!🐶🐴 Teddy the Bulldog joined us every day this week, Mac did finally join on Friday after being poorly and needing rest 🤒 Alfie and Pip are officially regulars now so no more barking at other Pip 😆 Robbie showing us his dance moves 😂 Teddy the Labrador had to bring his emotion tennis ball on his walk that Edith was trying to steal the WHILE walk 😆🎾

The boys are busy, looking smart too - that’s the aim from the groom (me😂) Been doing trial and error on Vinny to find some sort of brakes in the old boy who knows best🙄 fingers crossed we have cracked it🤞🏼The boys were treated to a pumpkin but it was a no from them 🎃

Just a reminder, no doubt walks on Wednesday this week! Sorry for the inconvenience ☺️

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐴🐶

Half term week usually means less doggos to walk but not this week, think I had more 😂 not complaining because everyone had the best fun!

Horses have taken priority this week as they needed to look smart. Had a hair cut, massages and new shoes on so it’s been a busy week on the yard🥰🐴

The dogs have been super this week and lots of adventures and new sniffs! Teddy, Buzz and Scofi had a great time stinking after going in some very smelly water but obviously all very proud of themselves 🤢😂 Jackson and Dougie joined us again this week, showed everyone their famous ‘wiggle bums’ 🍑 Sage got the all clear from the vets too so she was back in full swing to tell everyone off and keep them in line 😆

My first 1-2-1 dog training class and I received this lovely message from my customer!😃 working on heel and recall with a 7month old going into her teenage stage😆 so positive and I look forward to doing more of these 🥰

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐴🐶

Lots of rides and walkies this week!! The horses are having the massages and hair cuts this week so they will all look super smart by Tuesday all ready the real hard work to begin😃🐴

The dogs have been so good this week, lots of fun playing with their friends! Sage is out of action after having a op to find a grass seed in her foot and now having the cone of shame on but she’s still got to keep everyone in line from the sidelines 😂 Teddy took up dog agility to Mac’s disgust🙄😆 lots of fun in all the water we could find! So nice to have a week of no (not much) rain ☔️ Barney had his last few walks this week and was so sad to say goodbye but I hope to see him soon! 🐶

As it’s half term this week, I know some dogs won’t be about so if not please drop me a message☺️ have a great week off if you get a break over half term 😃

🐶 NEWBIES 🐶

A late post BUT Sansa and Lola are the newest team members on a Tuesday!🐶 They had a couple of introduction walkies before meeting the gang (some being their neighbours 😆). They have slotted in so well and typical spaniels will find a ball anywhere and demand it to be thrown 😂🎾

Lovely to have you girls and plenty more adventures 🐾

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐶🐴

Nearly every morning it’s been foggy or rained so the boys have been lunged or looking smart for their party! 🐴

The dogs have LOVED the water this week! Swimming at any possible chance😆 this week is the last few days with Barney, what a dude he’s been😍 Mac and Teddy have been joining us on a couple of group walks, watching them make friends and having not much fun on the agility set😂 Audrey has been over to play with the big dogs, not quite mastered the art of jumping onto the big log 🙈 finishing the week with Rosie for the day yesterday (Saturday), Mr Philo with Alfie and Pip. Jackson and Dougie joined for 2 walkies this week and Mac and Teddy 😍

🐶 DOG COATS AND DRY ROBES 🐶

As the weather is getting cooler and wetter means LOTS of towels to wash and dry, I’ve now got drying gloves to speed up the drying process and a variety of towels - normal towels, microfiber towels and noodle cloths.

All owners (if have them) are welcome to throw me their dry robes or fleeces for dogs to wear on their walks or after to dry and keep warm! 🧣🧤🧥🐶

🐶🐴 WEEKLY UPDATE 🐴🐶

A busy week to say the less!! Horses have been in and out🐴 and we’ve been on some autumnal rides!

Doggies have been manic and I don’t just mean their behaviour 😂🙄 Barney is with me for a couple of weeks of lunchtime walkies while his owners are away☀️ Alfie and Pip joined for a few muddy walks this week while their owners moved house and they were out of the chaos for a bit🥰 Audrey spent a couple of days with the gang showing off her fantastic teenage attitude and listening to me was NOT cool😆 Maggie and Wilma came for walkies too this week as they have a new baby brother so needed time out 😃 Otis also joined us for the day on Monday to see all his pals 😍

All the other doggies have been good, few off days of not listening but I put that down to the weather changing 🍂🐶
