Their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell.
Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes.

They regularly cause intestinal blockages and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.

About Paw Patrol

Paw Patrol dog walking and pet care are dedicated to providing the best care possible to your pets. Fully insured and DBS checked. Paw Patrol will be offering dog walking (individual or group walks) and home visits, and will provide photo updates to give you peace of mind whilst your pets are in my care. My services will be offered from January 2020 but I am available now to contact for more information or to arrange a free consultation.

About me... I’m Natasha, I live in Shirland with my partner, our 2 children, 3 dogs and hamster. I have worked in veterinary practice for 13 years (the last 7 years as a Registered Veterinary Nurse).

I have been a lifelong owner of many pets and lover of all animals, and have dedicated my life to loving and caring for my own and other peoples pets in my own time and whilst working as a nurse. Although I have recently decided to step away from the profession to spend more time with my family and my own fur babies, I was struggling with the idea of giving up caring for animals, and so came the idea of Paw Patrol (with a little help from my children deciding the name). I hope that this will allow me to take on a new role as friend and carer to your furry family members.
