Rare weekend away from the dogs so relaxed with a trip to Snowdonia with friends for Zip world, quarry karts, underground crazy golf and a climb up Cadair Idris mountain. Quiet weekend then !!

Well, a first for me that's for sure. Customer asked if I'd teach her Husky to run on a treadmill. Well why not, let's give it a go. Might take a few goes but we'll get there.

Always a good training session with this young XL Bully. A very sensible approach from her owner to bring in a dog trainer to ensure she is well socialised and calm but responsive in any situation.

Two lovely new rescue dogs having their first one to one training sessions this weekend.
Another amazing but very anxious Podenco rescued from the streets of Spain. Anxious but so loving when she gained confidence and trust.
And then Harry all the way from the streets of China. Full of beans but not sure how to harness this plus anxious around dogs.
With their new forever families they will have the best support to settle into their new life here in the UK.

A dog walk isn't always about throwing a ball and covering miles. If you have an anxious or reactive dog, sniffing and snuffling the bushes is a natural relaxant for dogs and gives them lots of mental stimulation.
Play 'find it' with some kibbles or tasty treats and turn it into a game.

Airedales - A first for me. A 1yr old having some 121 training away from his big brother. What a fantastic looking pair they are

So proud of this little dude. 2 months of focussed walk and training sessions to combat his fear of dogs and managing his very reactive response to even seeing one in the distance. He had his first day off lead and was perfect. Polite to other dogs, came when called and not even a grumble.
Great step in the right direction. Now we have to keep consistent and persistent to help him fully overcome his fears.

Chewie the Springer, full of energy and pulls like a train. Learning how to harness some of that energy with some focused walking and control through a mix of low level agility poles and jumps to help him think about what he's doing and check in with his owner.
