Well that was an exciting day. Nancy & Dotty were back on walks after a two week holiday and we bumped into Audrey’s brother on our last walk. I should think there’s a few tired dogs this evening. 🐾

Ralph is always a good boy, he plays nicely with other dogs and stops if the other dogs find him a bit much, he always comes back when he’s called although if he finds something to munch on it might take him a little longer than normal, he likes people, kids, dogs and is just a really good dog. Today however Ralph was an absolute idiot! 😂

Not all training games have to be high energy, today we did some brain exercises with Boo. Boo tends to have lots of excitement Monday to Friday so our weekends are usually pretty tame. We like Boo to have a couple of days of low arousal to give her bucket a chance to empty. Do you try anything like this with your dog?

Games really make a difference when it comes to training your dog. On one of this mornings walk we came across some rubbish which most of the dogs were scared of. Two of them are familiar with the games I teach so we played a game of “paws on” and they were no longer scared of the rubbish.
