I provide home visits for microchipping of small animals and ultrasound scanning of pregnant dogs and cats. I also breed top quality Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos, Fox Red Labradors and Miniature Labradoodles. My spaniels are working strain but not actively working trained. All my dogs live as part of our family, they are not kennelled and they and any puppies are part of our family household. I have
one cocker and one Labrador in my breeding programme. They’re both KC Registered and fully gene and health tested. They will have no more than 4 litters at least a year apart between the ages of 2-6. I am a licensed breeder with Babergh District Council and approved by CCGB.

I do understand that it’s just an added expense while budgets are tight but I do offer home visits on the Shotley Pen*sula with no mileage charge so if you’d like to get your cat microchipped in the comfort of your own home get in touch. I am getting booked up but I’ll do my best to fit anyone in.

Foxy recently presented me with a beautiful litter of Fox Red Labrador Retriever pups. She has 5 girls and 3 boys and they are almost 3 weeks old.
They’re KC registered both parents are hip and elbow scored, eye screened and gene tested to the main lab genes on one side or the other so pups will not be susceptible to most relevant genetic conditions. The in breeding coefficient for the litter is 0 as the Dad, Jack, is an American import now also KC registered. He is certainly a stunning dog bringing new dna into the uk gene pool to expand the diversity within the breed and avoid interbreeding.
He is also a fully trained working dog.
Foxy, the Mum is a family pet, she has completed her basic gundog training but predominantly she is just a gentle presence about the house.
Her pups have been whelped and are currently being raised in my study where I can keep a close eye on them. At around 4 weeks they will move into our puppy crèche in the kitchen diner where they will get use to all the comings and goings of a busy household. Noah is the last of my recent litter of working cockers. He has the sweetest of natures and is already doing really well with his training. He is hereditary clear for prcd-PRA, FN, AMS and AON. Mum and Dad are both KC/BVA eye screened with Gonioscopy PLA scores 1 and 0 respectively. Mum is also hipscored 5/6.
He is fully vaccinated, wormed, flea, tick and mite treated. He has no defects. He can be seen with his Mum.

Hi I’m Noah
If you’re looking for a super handsome, loyal companion you’ll go along way to find a pup better than me! Maybe one of my 2 brothers but, obviously, in my opinion they come a close 2nd! Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
My full name is Roseorwell Noah and I’m a golden Cocker Spaniel with a few little white bits for good measure. I think my Dad, Cedarose Harlem (Harper) for short, may work a bit but we’re not in touch so I can’t be sure but Mum, Roseorwell Jessie is a stay at home Mum. My birthday is 17th June so I’m just over 10 weeks now. I’ve been taken out a couple of times to this really weird smelling place with white rooms and a lady in green overalls. My big Mum handed us all over in turn and the woman prodded and poked, even had a good feel around ‘down there’ apparently I’ve got 2 and that’s good? Nelson’s only got one at the moment but they think it’s on its way! I have no idea what they were talking about! She put this big round thin on my chest that went all the way up to her ears and then opened my mouth, said I had lovely teeth? Then she stuck this huge great needle in my neck and squirted this Vanguard stuff in me. They’ve put that in twice now. It felt a bit cold going in but didn’t hurt and big Mum said I was a very brave boy. It was a bit like when big Mum put that little metal bit in my neck a few weeks back. That hurt a bit more but I was brave then too and didn’t make a squeak. I’m really lucky because both Mum and Dad are ‘clear’ for some things called genes. One is FN, another is PRA prcd then AMS and AON so I won’t get ill with them when I grow up. They’ve also been to the dog optician and had their eyes looked at and they can see real good! Mum has scores for her hips too, whatever that means! 5/6 apparently.
I live in this big room with a table and chairs that the big people come and sit round on and off all day. Sometimes they put things in their mouths on these long metal things with prongs or little round bowls on the end. My sibs and I have this big pen to play in and a huge crate that we chill in right by where they sit. When they’re putting the stuff in their mouths the big dogs all like to come and sit round and watch. I love Foxy, she’s a big red labrador, she leans against our pen and she’s really heavy and makes it bend. Mum says it’s cause she’s carrying her pups in her belly! How weird is that! They all got a bit scared the other night cause there was loads of loud bangs outside and bright sparkly lights then another day there were loud bangs, different though, and masses of this wet stuff fell out the sky. There was no way anyone was going out in that!
Several times a day big Mum takes us ‘down the garden’ there’s loads of things to play in. My favourite is getting down to the apple trees and pinching the apples off the floor. Big Mum always races down to try to get there first but she’s never fast enough! Then she has to catch us to get the apples from us as she says she doesn’t want us to get upset tummies. It’s a good game though. She makes us this lovely dinner 4 times a day of Skinner’s puppy biscuit. We were getting a bit bored with it and now she adds a bit of Turkey mince and boiling water and soaks it and it’s super yummy.
Then after meals we always go ‘down the garden’ to do our business as big Mum calls it. It’s always fun try to pinch the red bags when big Mum is picking it up and she gets annoyed with us and scoots us away.
We’ve got lots of toys to play with but best of all we like chasing each other about and sometimes there’s this big black fluffy cat that sits and watches us. We’ve learnt to be careful around him as he has really sharp claws that he’ll clout us round the ear with if we get a bit too boisterous. He’s really nice though.
Anyway, I hope that gives you a sense of me, I’m a really loving little chap. I love it when big Mum picks me up for a cuddle or makes a fuss of me when I sit on her feet. One of my brother’s Nelson has left and Saffy, my sister has gone too. Signe, my other sister is off soon so it’ll be just me, Nipper and Nico left. Oh, I’m quite good at coming when big Mum calls to us too but sometimes I get a bit distracted.
I don’t ask for much but I would like to live with people who are kind and are going to give me lots of cuddles but I also know that I need to start my schooling soon, that’s what big Mum says anyway. She says a well schooled dog is a happy dog so I’m keen to get started. If you’re the sort of person that can help me with that I’d be really happy to come and live with you.

9:1! Jessie’s such a good girl. She got Kiki’s and her own litter piling in and she just takes it in her stride. Bless her.
Kiki’s first litter arrived safely at lunchtime today.
6 beautiful working cockers graced us with their presence during the night. I’m definitely sporting my obligatory eye bag mask today! Jessie was amazing though. This was her 1st litter and all good
Jessie had her 1st mating yesterday for, hopefully, her 1st litter of KC Reg working cockers. Jessie and Harper, her mate are both clear for prcd-PRA, FN, AMS and AON, both eye screened with the BVA/KC scheme and Gonioscopy PLA 1 for Jessie and 0 for Harper. Jessie is also hip scored 5/6. They were both 1st timers to stud too so they’ve done really well. So pleased. Harper is a gorgeous boy. The Co-efficient for the litter will be 13.8. The litter is expected around 19th June if the mating is successful and puppies ready mid August.

This is Lara, she is a 3 month old F1 miniature labradoodle puppy that was 1 of a recent litter. The rest of her siblings have been sold to lovely homes but Lara is a very special pup and she needs to be placed in a specialist home. Lara suffered a little bit of hypoxia at birth as the previous pup was stillborn and took a while to be delivered. When Lara came she required resuscitation but has since thrived. It quickly became apparent that she is slightly neurological as she fell over quite a bit and did a lot of leaning to one side, spinning and moving her head a lot. I took her to the vet at 2 weeks and again before vaccinations. I was advised to watch and wait. As time has passed it has become clear that Lara is deaf. You can rattle a food bowl right by her head when she’s asleep and she doesn’t even twitch! As she has got stronger she doesn’t fall over anymore and only circles when she’s wanting to go to the toilet or before you put her food down.
She is intelligent and works things out quickly and learns quickly too. She is super affectionate, great with other dogs and likes our cat too.
I’m looking for a home for Lara where her owners can give her the time required to progress her training with hand, body and facial signals and previous experience of raising a deaf dog from puppyhood would be a significant advantage. If you have the skills or know someone that does and think you could offer a lovely home to Lara please message me for more information.

I’m sorry to say that I’ve decided not to reopen the grooming salon post pandemic. I’m still available for home visits however, for microchipping, pregnancy scanning and nail clipping. I light of the increase in fuel prices mileage is chargeable to all clients unfortunately. Sorry about that!

Mega clean up in the kitchen this morning and moved the puppies through from the whelping box. After a nail clip and sponge bath they had a great play with Jasper and Jaffa.
I must give an update on our poodle puppy Taffy, we decided to rename her and after much debate we finally settled on Jaffa. Not that she responds to it anymore than she did her previous name!
I have a gorgeous litter of red mini F1 labradoodles for sale. Mum has been hip and elbow scored with extensive gene testing also clear both her and Dad are prcd-PRA clear. Purdey’s puppies are arriving. She screamed in pain with the first one and Rosa came running in to help. The most amazing thing I’ve ever seen!
Rosa's puppies are now 3wks old and becoming a lot more active now for 5 or 10 minutes after feeding before the conk out again.
