"I nearly gave up on the idea that they could be trained"
This sweet, nervous boy is Barnie. You may have seen our recent posts with him and Bruce working on their reactivity, which is going really well so far! Their owner Jane contacted SIX other trainers before she contacted us, they either didn't even reply or replied saying they would get back to her and never did 🤯. That is not on, this poor lady was so close to giving up on training and just accepting that she couldn't go anywhere or do anything nice with her boys due to their reactivity. There is no excuse for ignoring people who need help, even if you are fully booked or don't think you are the right person for a case- suggest someone else (or at the very least tell the owner to keep trying other people!) Dogs deserve better ❤️

"Ace (Dalmatian x Pointer, 10 month old) spent his first day training with Emily & Matt today. We had a good chat so they understood what I wanted to achieve & I happily left Ace knowing he would be in good hands.

I was sent video updates during the day to put my mind at ease. On my return they explained they had been working hard on his loose lead walking, so we went out together so they could show me & help me get the technique correct.

Matt & Emily are both warm & friendly but above all very patient! I have left feeling 100 times more positive with a marked improvement already on his lead. Together I am confident we can train Ace to be an obedient lovely family dog. Thank you so much & we look forward to our next session."
