14.2hh standardbred mare for part loan (3/4 days a week, may consider full loan to the right person) to stay at current yard based in Shrewsbury. Very sweet mare on the ground and very well mannered, can do anything with her. She does need an experienced rider as she can be strong on hacks and does do the occasional rear. Very good in the school but is a pacer so struggles with canter work if not regularly schooled. Hacks alone and in company. Great at jumping and cross country. Has been to shows, beach, mounted games, fun rides etc. Would suit a confident teenager wanting to have fun, must be lightweight. Would also prefer someone who knows the breed. Part time work on a busy, friendly Livery Yard. Split shifts so must be able to drive. Fridays 8-11 then 3-6. Saturdays 8-10 then 3-6 approx.
Must have experience with big young horses and be competent to work alone. Potential for some riding for the right person but not a must. Must be able to do a trial day. Immediate start.
