Our lovely Gary is still looking for his forever home…🏡🐴

Gary is a sweet 3 year old spotty pony, standing at 10.2hh. He is a quiet, gentle boy who will require an experienced handler due to his nervous tendencies. Having said this he is good to handle on a day to day basis, and is good for the vet and farrier. He is currently living out happily in a herd of geldings, but has not met mares yet due to only being castrated in September. He is up to date with vaccs, worming, teeth and feet. Gary’s adoption fee is £300.

❄️A huge thankyou to anyone who sent our horses some rugs following our previous post! They are very grateful in the weather we are getting now! ❄️

But we a still desperately short of rugs sizing from 4’0 - 5’3… so if you have any un used rugs in these sizes that you could donate to us, our smaller crew would be very grateful! 🙏 or even send us some new ones as Christmas presents for the ponies! 🎁🎄

🐴RUGS🐴

As we head into November, the clocks go back and the temperatures inevitably drop!

We are asking for our lovely supporters help!

We are in need of some rugs for our horses and ponies… all sizes gratefully received 🙏 all we ask is they are in a good useable condition, ready to go and waterproof! ☔️❄️

The rugs can be dropped off at reception at the centre or posted to us at Gonsal Farm, SY5 7ET..

✨Sugar Puff✨

Sugar Puff is a lovely 3 year old Welsh mare, currently standing at approx. 13.1hh. She arrived with us having had no handling so was a nervous girl, but in her time with us her confidence has improved drastically. She is now a friendly, sociable girl who loves being around people and having a fuss.
She is currently living out happily in a herd of 12 mares. We would love to find Sugar Puff a home with an experienced, patient owner who can continue to build her confidence.
She is up to date with vaccs, worming, teeth and feet. Her adoption fee is £400.

Connie is a lovely 13 year old Welsh mare, who stands at approx. 12hh. We think Connie may have had bad handling prior to coming into our care, as she can be reactive to certain situations or sudden movements. For this reason, we are looking for an experienced, patient new owner for her. Having said this, she is easy to do on a day to day basis and is a sweet, friendly girl once she has got to know and trust you.
Connie lives out happily in a herd of 12 mares but does require restricted grazing over summer!
Connie is up to date with vaccs, teeth, worming and feet. Her adoption fee is £300.

✨Thunder✨

Thunder is a lovely 7 year old new forest x type, standing at approx 13hh. He is easy to do, he is good to catch, lead and groom.

He currently lives out in a small group of geldings and is a laid back character within the herd. Thunder is looking for a companion home or could be a project for an experienced handler to start. He is currently trying to lose a bit of weight and will need restricted grazing.

Thunder is up to date with all vet checks and vaccinations. His adoption fee is £400.

Smudge is an adorable 2 year old steel grey gelding standing approximately 10.2 HH.
Smudge is great to catch and loves having a good fuss. He is easy to do in all ways. He is good for the farrier and the vet and is up to date with vaccinations and worming.

✨Peewee!✨ REHOMED

Peewee is a gorgeous 3 year old part bred dales gelding, standing at approximately 13hh.
Peewee had little to no handling before arriving with us, he is now super to catch and lead, we are still working on picking up feet and he is currently sedated for the farrier. Due to not having farrier work prior to being with us Peewee does unfortunately have slightly twisted front feet but this is improving with regular trimming.
Peewee would love to find his person who can give him all the love and attention he deserves🩵
