We take on a variety of horses and ponies throughout the year, all having different problems ranging from physical / mental abuse, starvation / emaciation, worm burdens (which will add to the horses problems e.g. ana
emia) lice, disease, laminitis (severe) collapsed horses, severely overgrown feet and orphan foals. All our horses receive 24 hour care 365 days a year. Because we can offer around the clock care we are able to take the most severe cases of neglect and give them the best chance of survival and full recovery. The next stage of the rehabilitation process, once in good physical condition, is to assess the horse/pony's temperament and decide whether they will be a riding or companion horse/pony. We then continue our work whether it be handling from the ground or getting them ready to ride. Once these stages are complete we then strive to find the best possible home for them.

✨Ulla✨ RESERVED
Ulla is a 5 year old Shetland mare, approximately 8hh.
Ulla has had a rough start in life and is a bit wonky in her confirmation.. she is having remedial trimming to straighten her feet but this does not affect her and it has improved greatly since being with us.
She has the sweetest character and is good to catch, lead and groom. Ulla is good for the vet and farrier and is up to date with vaccinations.
Ulla is looking for a quiet companion home only.

Bojo is a 2 year old, palomino gelding that stands at approximately 13.1hh. He is a very friendly boy that stands well to be groomed and is good to pick out his feet but can struggle to find his balance!
Bojo is looking for a companion home where he can continue to grow and mature.
Bojo is good for vet and farrier, up to date with vaccinations and he is good to catch and lead.

George is a lovely 15 year old Dales pony with recorded breeding, standing at approximately 14hh.
George has come on leaps and bounds since being here at the centre with us, however he will benefit from having a calm and gentle handler.
George is very affectionate and loves a good pamper. George has recently been castrated and therefore we feel he will be best suited in a home primarily with geldings however he is happy stabled beside mares.

Storm takes his confidence from his handler, he can get worried about new things but is a very loving and affectionate boy.
Storm is looking for a new loving home where he can continue his ground work and would love to have a one on one relationship.

Meet Olivia! Our lovely 3 year old Welsh part bred mare. She stands around 13 hands tall, has a lovely temperament and is good for the vet and farrier. She has had a tooth extraction a couple of months ago and the vet is very happy with her recovery. She came in a very nervous girl but in her time here she has come on leaps and bounds, however for this reason we are looking for a calm, patient new owner. Bandit is a 3 year old skewbald cob gelding standing at 12.2hh. Bandit is an inquisitive and sociable chap, and enjoys a lot of attention. Bandit currently lives out in a herd of geldings but is happily stabled. Bandit is doing well in his groundwork and is quiet and easy to do in all ways, and is looking for a loving new home to give him time to mature. ✨Welcome to the world, Blueberry✨
1 week ago this beautiful little filly made her surprise entrance here at Gonsal Farm! Her wonderful mum, Clover, did it all without help during the peace of the night! And there she was the next day, strong and feeding well!
Both Blueberry and Clover have continued to thrive this week and we are starting to see her confident, yet sassy personality come through!

Blackie is a very sweet black welsh-type mare, standing at 14hh. Blackie is 11 years old and good to do in all ways. She is easy to lead, loves a groom and is good for the vet and farrier. Blackie has begun her education with us and is very good to lunge and carry out groundwork. Blackie currently lives out in a herd of mares but is happy to be stabled. Blackie is passported, microchipped and fully vaccinated.

Due to an over whelming response from you wonderful people to this post we have had to close applications for our babies. Please bare with us while we work through the enquires.

Soon available for adoption. As with any foal it’s always nice to have another young friend to play with so ideally we would love to find the 2 boys (Chester and Triumph ) a home together, Wren has another filly friend called Millie who is also available for adoption.

Meet Bluebell, our very sweet natured spotted pony ❤️
She is 12.3hh 13 years old.
Bluebell came into RSPCA care along with 80 other horses and ponies in poor condition.She has a lovely nature but can be nervous of new people.
We do not know if she has ever been ridden therefore would like to find a companion home for this sweet girl to continue building her confidence.
