Ex riding school horses looking for loan, to stay at Corner Farm (Hadnall) but would consider the possibility of rehoming them in the future if matched to the right person. Both have quirks so no beginners/novices or children please, over 18’s only. Both older horses so looking for light work/gentle hacking so ideally someone who could commit to 3/4 times per week to enjoy a gentle ride out. Very good off road hacking available. Small financial contribution would be appreciated but mainly want someone to love and enjoy them after their years of hard work for me, one 15.3hh and one 14hh, please pm for more information, thanks Lucy x

Thank you so much to all my customers and staff who braved the flood at the end of the lane to get to us for lessons today. If you walked through, drove through or got a lift in Sarah’s trusty defender I really appreciate your support to Corner Farm and to keeping lessons going. This winter is already proving to be a tough one so thank you to all my customers for your continued support.
A special thank you to sarah for helping people get to us today, especially the pony clubbers! They were all excited to go in your car through the water 😀🐴

Freelance Rider wanted, must be small enough to be able to ride ponies that are 12/13hh and be over 18 and available on weekday daytimes. Must be competent to ride different types of ponies and be able to school in the arena. Must be quick and efficient at grooming to a high standard and tacking up. 💜🐴 So proud of the Corner Farm Pony Clubbers today who attended the North Shropshire Pony Club Care Competition!
The three teams that went to represent Corner Farm in the quiz all did amazingly well and most of all had so much fun!
They came away with some lovely rosettes, Amy, Marissa and Harriet nailed it coming 9th, Cerys and Ella smashed it, just the 2 of them in 7th and Bella, Eva and Alicia did fantastically well coming 2nd! Well done to all of you, sorry I couldn’t be there but you all made me very proud and represented Corner Farm so well being enthusiastic and well mannered throughout.
Thank you so much to Racheal Thompson for organising and meeting the girls and supporting them on the day, and a massive thank you to North Shropshire Pony Club for organising the event. A great day had by all! 🐴💜

Yesterday I had to say a heartbreaking goodbye to my beautiful Woz. He had been part of the Corner Farm family for 11yrs, teaching so many children to ride.
I’m feeling totally devastated and heartbroken as you all know how much I love my ponies and how much I dedicate my life, time and love to them all. He was a massive character to have around the yard and in lessons and I know he will be missed by so many.
I know all of you will be so sad to read this as he’s been part of so many peoples lives and riding experiences.
I will miss him dearly but I will always be grateful for what an amazing pony he was, I owe him so much for everything that he has done for me and I will never forget that.
💜 We will love you forever Woz 💜

⭐️Job Opportunities ⭐️

Part time job opportunity, to include one or two evenings per week (3pm-7pm) and possibly some mornings depending on hours wanted. Suitable for someone self-employed, who is hardworking and reliable. Work includes preparing horses for lessons and general yard work, can be fast paced so would only suit someone with experience in tacking up and handling horses.

Weekend position also available for 14yrs plus to work in return for a lesson. Ideally some experience with horses would be helpful but not essential as full training can be given, however applicant must be prepared for physical work including mucking out and poo picking etc.

A huge thank you to Graham and his team for taking the time to bring the fire truck to Corner Farm today for the pony club fire safety badge. They did a great interactive and informative talk and the kids absolutely loved it! 🙂🧑🏼‍🚒🐴
