Can’t believe I’m writing this about my own bunny boy Bo. He passed over the rainbow bridge this evening. After starting to lose condition last November and undergoing blood , urine, ultrasound and X-rays, we couldn’t find a cause. He was as cheerful, full of life and loving as ever and ate like an ox!
This evening he wasn’t himself. I picked him up to take to the vets but he relaxed and lay until a fit took him. He was warm and loved until the end 😭🌈🐰❤️

We don’t have many pairs of boys but it’s brotherly love all the way with gerbils Kris and Mati and bunny brothers Gile...

Don't be that parent or you may regret it sooner than you think! Breeders and pet shops never tell the truth about proper rabbit care and how much they really cost. Rescues are full and overflowing with unwanted rabbits. If, as a responsible family, you are in a position to offer a forever loving home to a couple of bunnies and treat them as family members, adopt from a rescue instead. A genuine ethical rescue won't lie because they put the welfare of the animals first. They will always be honest about their needs and what you can expect.

Our Story

Furry Friends has been established in Sidcup for 8 years now. In that time we’ve looked after hundreds of your furry friends. Many of our boarders have become part of our family and you have become friends. We are a small boarding facility with big ambitions. Two years ago we upgraded our accommodation to feature walk in lodges for our rabbit guests and the guinea pig hutches were moved into the insulated, heated, garden building. We are constantly learning and improving the service we offer. We endorse the 5 freedoms of animal welfare and are members of the Rabbit Welfare Association.
