This week we welcomed the beautiful Squirrel to the All 4 paws pack! Squirrel is now the youngest member of the pack and is an absolute joy to do puppy visits with! I can’t wait to get out and about with her!

Today we went to explore a recommendation from that we saw share! I think both myself and my girls were glad we did! What a fabulous place for a Sunday afternoon walk is! You can walk for miles, there’s free parking, meadows, woodlands(our favourite!) and even places to play in the river if your dog likes water! Mine hate it! 😅 The only issue is its location within the ULEZ zone, but if your car is compliant, or you don’t mind paying, it’s definitely worth a visit!

We need your help!! My mum and her dog Honey volunteer at a wonderful group that support people, mostly children, to overcome their fear of dogs! Id like to introduce you all to our newest All 4 Paws pack member Bonnie, a 5 month old cockapoo! She only recently came to live with Rufus and is settling very well, they are the best of friends already!

I’d like to introduce the newest and youngest member of the All 4 Paws Pack…… meet Teddy’s little brother Boris!! Isn’t he gorgeous! At 14 weeks old this was his first time joining us on a walk and he did very well! He wasn’t too keen on the car, but then I don’t think I would be keen on a big noisy car if I was that small either!!! 😊🐾

PLEASE stop walking your dogs in this heat! It is not only dangerous, it’s cruel! 🥵
Keep them inside, and ensure there is shade if in the garden! 😎
Ensure they have access to plenty of cool, fresh water! 💧
Why not try making some frozen treats or freezing a treat toy! 🍦

As a dog walker today I started early to ensure any dogs that couldn’t be moved to another day were walked early this morning! Those that needed to be seen later in the day got a drop in visit to ensure they were comfortable and had plenty of water! 😊

However whilst out and about ensuring the welfare of these dogs I was truly shocked by the amount of people out walking dogs! Not only were they walking their dogs but they were walking them on pavements! I could feel the heat of the pavement through my shoes, imagine how that must feel on your dogs delicate paw pads! 🥵

Please just be sensible. A dog never died from missing a walk! 😊🐾
