New boy on the block, Arthur, settling in very well. I love having youngsters here and being privileged enough to watch them grow and mature.

He is a very helpful poo picking companion as he doesn’t leave your side! 🤭😍

We pride ourselves in our dedication and love to every single animal that resides with us. We always do multiple checks a day (including right before it’s pitch black) on our residents here, especially as we have some much older horses and ponies.

We noticed late this afternoon that one of our older mares just wasn’t ’quite herself’ and there were just some subtle signs something was off. After prompt discussion with the owner, we decided to get the vet out to be on the safe side. Lucky we did, and the mare will be fine, but it’s so nice to hear other professionals recognise the care and standard we give to our clients/horses (and of course we always appreciate our lovely feedback from owners).

It’s a knackering line of work and not for the faint hearted (especially in these cold months) BUT you know what they say .. do something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life, right? 💞

Loading practise for Oatley today ahead of him leaving us (sadly) to start his ridden chapter next month. A few handling sessions booked in for his lovely owner to make sure it’s nice and refreshed for him on leaving day as he’s enjoyed years of being a baby with yummy grass and playing with friends☀️
