Beautiful Gigi with his Puffed Pigs Ear.

Puffed pig ears are also easy to chew because they are made from softer cartilage, making them a good treat for puppies as young as four months old (altho cheeky Dollie who is 12 weeks enjoys a nibble!!) and senior dogs with dental problems.

Puffed ears are a low fat alternative to the traditional Pig's ear, having a crunchy texture they also help to remove plaque and improve your dog's dental health.

They are not a very common treat at all meaning we are one of a few companies who stock these.

Usually found: early mornings / late evening.

Moderately Low Risk for most dogs, however keep an eye on puppies, obese, brachycephalic older dogs.

Medium Risk - stick to low intensity lead walks only to avoid running and over exertion.
24-27°C
HIGH RISK - for all dogs. It's best to wait until the weather is cool enough i.e Early Morning / Late Evening.

EXTREMELY HIGH RISK - for all dogs. Never take your dog out in this heat even if it's not necessarily 'sunny'.

🐾 Joey’s Donations - AUGUST FUNDRAISER FOR WELLIDOGS / WELLINGBOROUGH DOG WELFARE 🐾

Today we’ve posted off 1.5kg of Beef Gravy Bones to wellidog for their 18 dogs to have treats during walkies. According to volunteer Charlotte “the walkers prefer biscuit treats as it doesn’t give them the same poops a natural treat does!!”.

If you would like to donate any items, round up your total on your orders, or donate a small amount, please do let me know and I can get this sent over at the end of the month. I will be keeping a chart of who & what is donated so 100% goes to the rescue.

Additionally, I will personally match any donations we receive.

Thank you to Charlotte Dearn for her help with telling me what items they need most so we can make sure that everything we send is what they want & can use.

🐶 3 Common Puppy Training Mistakes 🐶

🐶 Starting too Late:
Early socialisation & training is important to prevent unwanted behaviours and create a solid foundation for good manners & skills.

🐶 Inconsistencies:
Each person should spend a few minutes practicing skills with the puppy as well as keeping the house rules simple & consistent.

🐶 Avoid Punishment:
Puppies are not born with the skilled to live in a human world. It’s our job as their guardian to guide & teach them. Punishment can stress & scare your puppy & hurt the bond you share.
