Today was a pawsone day at DogSchool 🐶🎓 Our fairy friends crashed it, showing off their best manners, nailing all their commands, and spreading so much joy. From facing.”sit” and “stay” to walking with pawsome poise, they were little stars! 🌟🐾

🐾Enrichment Walks: the best adventure with friends🏖️🐶. Hey dog lovers 🦮🌟 today we took our furry friends on an enrichment walk to the beach! Not only did we enjoy the fresh air. But we also engaged in our pup’s senses in a way that really stimulates their mind and body. 1. We let our dogs sniff around. Stopping to explore the new scent can be just as tiring as running.
2. We stopped to chat with other dog owners - it was great for their social skills.
3. we took breaks to enjoy the scenery together and just watch the tide to go in and out.
4. we also reinforced some of the training we have been practising every day. Remember an enriched walk can make a world difference for Your Dog mental and physical well-being.

🌞🐾 A Perfect Day Out with Paws and Friends 🐾. There’s nothing better than a day filled with sunshine laughter and wagging tails! Spent the day exploring the great outdoors with my favourite humans and their four-legged companions 🐕❤️. We had the ultimate pup approved adventure from splashing in the sea to enjoying some well-deserved treats and belly rubs 🐾❤️. The Joy on their faces and ours says it all. Definitely a day to remember. 🐶🌟.

🐾Amazing Training Morning with Puppy Club🐾. Had an awesome session with these little stars of puppy club today! 🌟 these pups are making big strides in their training and we couldn’t be more proud. 🎉🐶. Today’s focus was on 1️⃣basic commands: sit and stay and down and stay-our pups nailed it! 2️⃣ leash walking: working on those polite walking skills. They are mastering the art of no pulling. 3️⃣ Socialisation: tons of puppy interaction to build confidence and get them comfortable around other dogs. So much fun! 🐾🐕❤️. Big thanks to the amazing puppy club crew for making making every session a blast and for helping our pups go into well-behaved happy companions! 🤩. Can’t wait to see these cuties at our next session.❤️

🐶❤️Our Dog Squad Members. 🐾❤️. I’m so proud of our dog squad club. 🦴We’ve worked hard today on recall and walking on a loose lead. Training takes time, consistency and patience, but seeing the progress makes it all worthwhile!! Top training tips from squad this morning: 🕘Consistency is key! Same time and same place 🌟Positive reinforcement. Treat + Praise = Happy dog! 👍Short sessions. 10-15 minutes so they stay engaged. ❤️Patience and love. Don’t stress the small stuff. We are all still work in progress but so proud of these guys 🐕🌟❤️.

🐾Training progress: Learning to settle🐾. Meet Scout, our clever student who would struggle to settle and would pace. With consistent training, positive reinforcement and plenty of patience his owners are really making such wonderful progress. Tonight his behaviour calmed and he was relaxed settling down for 20 minutes. Even with family members coming and going he was able to just chill. These small wins are so important and so very rewarding.

When you have fabulous owners who work so hard to get those wins. After a hard day it’s so lovely to hear from Pretzel (picture for cuteness).

Hi everyone

I just wanted to celebrate Pretzel with you all. This might not seem much to anyone but to me, it was a fabulous day.

Now, Pretzel is a very complex little fellow who is very anxious and pretty much detests all dogs, even his own kind so walks can be incredibly stressful. Group walks are a huge no no. That’s why we’re never there.

The ONLY dogs he will happily spend time with are his brother Otis and Julie Cook’s dogs Frank and Coco. They are his only friends.

Today we went out with his crew for nearly three hours and he was such a good boy. No snapping or growling at other dogs and no lunging. No protesting with walking. No backing out of his harness. He happily walked with the others. He actually had fun!

I’ve been working on Pretzel since 2020. There are no quick fixes unfortunately. Trust me, if there were, I would have used them.

I’ve had the expert guidance from Jackie Murphy at Specialist Dog Training who continues to guide me and offer support. She’s always been Pretzel’s biggest supporter and without her, I don’t know what would have happened. She’s an incredible lady.

So to anyone out there who is struggling with their furry friends, don’t give up and celebrate even the smallest of wins.

RIP Teddy 🐾 August 2006 - December 2021 🐾 Hello friends, What an incredibly difficult and tough few weeks it has been as we said goodbye to Teddy. My beautiful boy went to sleep just before Christmas and I am heartbroken, beyond words. Bear is helping me through this super difficult time with plenty of love and cuddles but of course, he is also missing his big brother. I have put together, with the incredible creative genius and help from Gareth at PlayMountain Social Video Marketing, this homage to Teddy. Teddy was, and shall remain, so special to me and I shall miss him every single day. He was loved by so many, bringing smiles to our faces. To help me through this difficult time, I would love for you to leave a comment and picture below of any stories / memories that you have of Teddy. For those who didn't meet Teddy, just a special story of you and your four-legged friend will help bring a smile to my face. Until we meet again Teddy 💙
