🐱 Do you have a cat with Feline Hyperaesthesia Syndrome? We're seeking your help to uncover more about this mysterious condition. Feline Hyperaesthesia Syndrome (FHS), also known as “rolling skin syndrome” or “twitchy cat disease,” is characterised by behaviour suggesting heightened sensitivity, especially along the spine. Cats with FHS may have vocal outbursts, or show attacking or over-grooming behaviours, especially directed at the tail.
The exact cause of FHS remains unknown and diagnosis is challenging. A group of passionate veterinary professionals from Surrey University Veterinary School are conducting a study to understand how FHS develops and discover the best ways to manage and treat it.
If you have a cat with FHS or suspect your cat could have FHS, share your experiences through this survey. Your valuable input could make a real difference for cats living with FHS. 👉 https://neurovet.co.uk/research/
