It is with a broken heart that I announce shop mascot Lily crossed rainbow bridge this morning 🐶🌈

I know everyone thinks they have the best dog (none of us are wrong) but she truly was the best dog to grow up with, having been part of the family for half my life. I hope you will all remember the little terrier who wouldn’t ever let you enter or leave the shop without giving her tummy tickles first 🥹

🩵 Meet Hugo 🩵

Hugo is almost 10 weeks old and came in today for his first harness, he was super brave and not phased at all. He’s a show line Labrador but I think his owners have actually been sold a bear, look at the size of those paws! 🤩 and yes I had a cuddle

🐆 Feline Fun Fact Friday 🐆

Did you know Cheetahs are the only cat that can’t fully retract their claws?

All domestic cats and all other big cats can fully retract their claws but the cheetah cannot, due to needing the traction support to help them be able to run so fast 🐱

A sad animal update for you; my day has been filled with lots of Terry cuddles before we said goodbye to him this evening after a short illness.

Terry was 1 of 3 baby beardies (Drogon and Bailey being the other 2) we kept from when my Dad bred 2 of his beardies. Keeping 3 of the same batch is proving a sad time now we’re at this end of their lifespans with losing Drogon in January and now Terry. Terry was the chilled out snuggly one, we will miss his cuddles loads 💛

💛 Meet Bumble 💛

Bumble is a 6 month old golden retriever who came in for a new harness. She left with a hurtta weekend warrior harness in shade Ruby.

These harnesses are fabulous for bigger dogs as they are still soft breathable Airmesh material, just in a sturdier format to support bigger dogs and they are adjustable so Bumble will be able to wear it for a while yet 🐶

* this picture is from a couple of weeks ago, I don’t encourage doggies to be out in this heat!
