So this is it folks, the shops shut for good! I'm retreating back to my lovely field with my creatures 💚

I'm changing this page back to The Henporium, if i ever start doing something again it will be chicken related mainly so i think it makes sense to try and grab that identity back, beside i LOVED the Henporium 💚🐓

The lovely people in UK Furniture Home Store - Kirklees will be picking up the pet shop and will be selling chicken food again 🥳

It is with a big sadness that I am withdrawing the duck food from the canal bank, unfortunately someone has been taking the money and I haven't got the time or patience to sort it. I've had a good run on there with little or no interference with the honesty box so thank you to everyone who has been a duck food customer 💚 🦆

Despite being hailed as piggy paradise the shop wasn't for everyone, this is Minky I've never managed to get a pic of her before, she's loving the temp accommodation (peace and quiet I suspect). I'm off work this week so will be flat out finishing their permanent new enclosure/home so I can move them in, then it will be nail and hair trims all round 🤣

I have a few of these little poppets ready on Friday (pics from a previous hatch). Light Sussex/Rhode Island Red, they make lovely chunky deep red ladies, great egg layers, very hardy! Also have a few Brown Leghorns, white egg layers, all guaranteed ladies, send me a message if you're interested 💚

Just a quick run down of how it now works in the shop as it's now self serve.
All you need to do is select from the shop what you wish to buy and then visit www.slawitpetshop.co.uk to pay for it, i wouldn't advise buying it online before going to the shop at this point as the stock number is not yet set up. There's a table in the shop to pay or you can do it from your phone while you're there.

Not only can you stock up on all your small furry animal needs you can also now buy a new sofa, candles, chutney or a wardrobe at the same time, win win!

A couple of things you won't be able to do though is see any creatures or buy any Harringtons, everywhere was out of stock 🤷‍♀️.

No chicken feed yet either, if there's anything missing that you want just drop us a quick message 😀

Right folks I finally managed to sort myself out and will be back up and running on the 1st of April in the new venue next door UK Furniture Home Store - Kirklees I'm so excited 🥳💚🥳💚

🤯 Progress report 🤯

I'm still here! Like the rest of the country I was pretty ill over the festive season so things are definitely behind schedule, however I've made a good start and well on the way to sorting it.

The piggies are still in the shop but in a reduced space and it's not quite as tidy, but they have a tent and a heat lamp so still happy little sunbeams.

My beautiful shop is now in ruins but as my regulars will be well used to hearing me say "excuse the mess, there's big changes" 🤦🏻‍♀️ stick with me I'll be back soon 💚

All is not lost! I'M MOVING next door, well part of the shop is anyway. All small animal food, hay, shavings and treats will be available next door at UK Furniture Home Store - Kirklees (give them a follow also for updates) and online, click and collect and bulk order will also be available, all proceeds will still go back to the piggies 💚

🎁 All gifts and kids bits are now £5 or under.

🐰 25% off all Rabbit food until I move and I still have 10kg sacks of burgess available for £12.50.

🐹 The piggies are still moving home with me but I will still be operating a sanctuary and can offer nail clips and bum trims for those that want/need them.

⛱️ I'm looking at options and working with others to provide small animal boarding so keep an eye out for info about that.

Another sad post i'm afraid but last week we had to let our lovely Mabel go, not entirely unexpected but really sad nevertheless, we were able at least to keep her together with Panda so they can go together. They were my longest standing residents (apart from Magi) and i miss them both. Thank you for all the joy Mabel, rest in peace 💚
