So last week me and the big girl Ina had a fabulous lesson with the wonderful Jenny Folman Dressage to work on both our weak points (we all have them), Ina is a very hot quirky horse to ride that has never out grown being a fresh green 4yr old so we’re practicing on getting her balence together and moving around using her body correctly and also giving her a new style and way of working will hopefully improve her concentration and stop a lot of her mind wandering around the outside world looking for invisible things to spook at 👻.

So altho things have been very quiet on the page over the summer things haven’t been quiet on the yard.
Big girl Pandora went back to driving over summer after last year as she had winter off to mature as she’s only 5 an out a late maturing line of horses I’ve no rush for her we’ve also carried on with ticking her over under saddle as well but she definitely has taken to driving more and enjoys that more then the riding altho she looks equally smart doing both.

Her big sister Arwen has also started some basic ground works of some long reining and small bouts of lunging for voice aids as she’s a lot like her sister and is a very forward thinking horse and at 3 years old and standing at 15.2 she was becoming quite a handful and troublesome on the yard as she was bored and just needed to have something to think about which she took to her work like a duck to water and she settled really well with what she was doing so has now been turned away till next yr when she’ll start abit more.

I’ve also been focussing on one of my black girls who’s always been a very sharp quirky horse who’s suddenly decided to try and engage her mind abit more and take part in what we’re doing so hopefully we’ll get out to some local venues towards the end of summer/autumn cause once she does get things together she’s super to watch,

We’ve also had a few new faces in and out on the yard with holiday liveries new liveries ect

So things have been nicely ticking over I’m also available for freelance work which I’ve also been busy with the last few months if anyone requires any feel free to pop me a message.

So big girl Pandora was broken to drive last year but was turned away to finish off maturing over winter and now she’s coming back into work already pulling the tyre and getting ready to be put back in carriage again to continue her job, she’s such a lovely horse to do and thrives off her work 😊

So it’s been a very quiet end to the year after i ended up with a broken arm and had to be pinned an plated (not caused by any of my horses or by any on my yard I may add) but it shows that a split second in the wrong place with the wrong horse can cause damage no matter how many yrs of experience you have, but this aside we’ve welcomed some new faces on to the yard these past few weeks and are looking forward to Christmas and for what the new year will bring once I’m back working fit again and I’d just like to say a big thank you to all those that pulled together to help with everything while I was broken I don’t know what I’d do without all the good friends and family around us here,

Here we have every mothers dream pony Whisper,
Whisper is a 10yr old 12hh mare that is amazing to do in all ways and an ideal first pony an is amazing with children of all ages she’s literally the sweetest pony to have around an will stand all day while her little people brush an fuss over her, Whisper rides both on and off lead rein so would be amazing for the children starting out an developing to off lead rein extremely sad parting of a much loved pony tack and rugs are also available,

Willow is a Beautiful 2 year old dun filly currently standing at 13.1 to make at least 14hh+ has a fantastic amount of hair and movement and will make someone a fabulous show prospect as she only stands to get better an better with time an maturity,
Willow for such a young age has an amazing temperament an will stand for hours to be groomed an fussed over an loves a cuddle she really is looking for her forever home and new best friend an someone who will take her far in life please pm for more info
