I hope everybody has had a lovely Christmas and that the new years fireworks aren’t too terrible for you.

As some of you are coming back after the break this week and next, I want to apologise in advance. For those of you who I see face to face in the week, I apologise if I don’t hang around to chat or just seem off in any way. My old boy Buddy passed away yesterday and it has knocked me. Without him, literally none of you would be reading this. He was my first dog, adopted almost 14 years ago when I was 19. He was the start of everything, including my love for dogs and for this job. Everybody will be getting extra cuddles from me, particularly Hiru, Blondie, Tarzan and Max, who remind me most of him.

Leffe says bye bye!

Extra special visit for Leffe yesterday as it was his last one for a while. His family is looking forward to welcoming a special new addition. Will miss the little dude but I’m sure I’ll see him again in the future. Be a good boy, little one x

My little helpers today. For Rufus and Lola’s walk today we toured the village delivering the cards from HQ. They were very good putting up with my random directions and we even got to see dear Willow and Rufus had gentle nose boops with her.

It was only as we were halfway through this walk that I realised, because Chase has been on morning walks for a while, I don’t actually think he’s met Murphy before 🫣 safe to say, they got on like a house on fire and I’m sure there’ll be plenty more walks together in the future!

Good boy, Marley! Some of you will already know that we welcomed little Robbie into our home last month. It was clear when he arrived that he’d never been walked before so lead training took a while. When I was asked to walk Marley today, I knew he’d be the perfect candidate for Robbie’s first walk with a new dog. And he didn’t disappoint! He greeted him gently, showed him all the best sniffing spots and didn’t overwhelm him at all. It was a lovely experience to go into Robbie’s memory banks. He’s getting more and more confident each day. Lovely to see!

Poppy’s mum is probably going to be very surprised by these pictures. When I got the message asking for a last minute walk, I already had Jazz in the van. Oops!

But….everything was surprisingly okay. Poppy had a few barks initially but then walked very nicely next to Jazz and even tried to play. She’s come such a long way since I started walking her, this would have been unimaginable back then.

Managed to find a new walk off the beaten track today. Which was just as well because this lot were absolutely full of it today so at least we saved the general public from encountering them 🤣🤣

Hi everybody! My name is Robbie and I’m popping in to say I’m looking forward to my first Christmas in my new home. So, to help my mum plan the perfect festive season for me, I’m asking if you could all let her know when to stop turning up for walks over Christmas, as soon as you can please 🙏 she’s a bit of a silly billy so if you have the same days booked each week, she’ll keep turning up unless she’s told to stop!

I will also be supervising the wrapping of everybody’s presents this weekend and Santa Paws will start making deliveries this week! Happy holidays!
