Here is the first of my Reiki Chakra Cards 🤩

These cards are designed to be a handy reference guide to the seven main chakras of your dog, their uses, what they represent and some key words. I might also give you some exercises to try!

Let's begin!

1⃣ The Root Chakra

This governs your dog’s sense of security, survival instinct and connection to their home 🏠

I work here to help balance and ground your dog, especially if they are particularly barky or unsettled 🐾

So, what can cause a dog to be "barky"? 🤔 Insecurity and fear. If your pup is not comfortable in their surroundings they won't feel secure, they won't be able to relax. It can stem from many things - pain, fear of a situation or a person, past trauma...

Reiki can help heal insecurities and increase your dog's sense of grounding and identity by balancing and releasing old negative energy that is no longer serving a purpose ❤️

🧐 Try this with your dog. Give them a good rub, right at the top of their tail. You're working over the area of their root chakra 🙌 How did your dog respond? Did they love it, walk away or turn to face you? Let me know in the comments! ⬇

🌞 It's Summer Holiday Season!! 🏖

Something to look forward to but, are you left with no choice, and are worrying about putting your dog into kennels? 🐶 I try not to as well but when I have to, I hate it!

Dogs can really respond to the calming energy and it can help them feel grounded and secure during their temporary stay and resettle once they are home 💛

Just to show my Reiki isn’t just for the horses ❤️ treating Rammie was a lot of fun today 🤩

We have a new member to our family! 🐑 this is Rammie and Rammie had an Animal Reiki session today ❤️ let’s give him a “baaaa-ry” warm welcome!

Rammie needed some additional support alongside his Boswellia to help with his joint stiffness.

It was very interesting to see his hind leg stance widen and move backwards from being camped under his body. Initially he thought I might be the vet so was on mega guard, but afterwards, he just looked more comfortable and relaxed and even laid down. Well done Rammie!

Turns out sheepies react very similarly to horsies ❤️
