🌡 Heatstroke (hyperthermia) in pets is a bigger thread than you may think! Have a read and familiarise yourselves with the most common signs in dogs and cats.
💡 Did you know artificial grass can get very hot, very quickly and it can burn your pet’s paws and skin?
Please keep your pet off fake grass when it’s hot out. 🐾

Handsome ✨️Clyde✨️ came to see us this morning for his vaccination, but he also had a poorly ear which we treated. He was so well-behaved, and his tail didn't stop wagging. Hope you feel better soon, Clyde! 🐕

Just a reminder that we are currently still CLOSED TO NEW ADMISSIONS

We have had to make the decision to close to ensure we have the time and resources to care for our current patients properly.

We've got 22 baby hedgehogs in at the moment, ranging from 92g all the way up to 378g.

We've also got:
💚 baby magpies
💚 baby rooks
💚 baby crows
💚 a baby Jay
💚 baby blackbirds
💚 baby sparrows
💚 baby pigeons
💚 baby swallows
💚 a baby gull
💚 baby tawny owls
💚 baby kestrels
💚 and many ducklings 🐥

And thats just the babies! We've also got a number of injured adults in, including a tawny owl that's been hit by a car.

We don't answer calls and messages while we're closed because we just don't have the time to! Although we're lucky enough to have a centre, we're actually still a really small team so please be kind to us.

Our cake sale for was a success! 🙌🍰 We managed to raise £114 for this wonderful charity that supports veterinary staff and promotes awareness for mental wellbeing within the profession.
Thank you to all staff who participated with your delicious bakes, and everyone who donated!

✨️Jasper✨️ has been in for his health check and vaccinations today. He is a lovely ginger boy and he paid attention to the Body Condition Score charts on our board, he's proud to say he is a healthy 5/9! 🐈

Our fully qualified vet nurses are able to carry out free 6-monthly health checks where they check everything listed below, and more! They are also able to advise you on neutering, nutrition, exercise, place microchips and check your pets nails and a**l glands.
Hopefully your pet will get the all clear, but if there are any issues your pet might be referred to one of our vets for a further discussion.

✨️Tamika✨️ was with us today for her post-op xrays 6 weeks after she's had surgery on her knee 🦴 She has been a lovely girl throughout her treatment with us and she's recovering well so today we signed her off 🐕
