Hey have you missed us?
My personal account was taken down a few weeks ago and we lost access to the business page.
Facebook have kindly restored my accounts!
If you've tried to contact us through Facebook and haven't received a reply, please accept our apology.
We're most definitely still here and looking after your lovely dogs so drop us a message if you'd like to book your dog in for a groom, teeth cleaning or nail trim.
We have a few available appointments through June and July and would love to see you.
Zoe 🖤
Someone (Hercules) has mastered the 'I'm adorable so give me treats look'...
Someone (me) has fallen victim to this look...
Biscuit the Cockapoo letting off some steam after her bath!
We always have toys available for your dogs to play with whilst they're visiting us.
Having a little breather between scary things, like the bath and hairdryer, helps Biscuit and other dogs destress.
It's also entertaining for us too! 😂❤️
Understanding a dog's behaviour is one thing, but Zoe has taken it one step further and now knows how to speak fluent dog 😂
Here's a little snippet of her and Coco's very in depth conversation last week.
Oh how we wish we could really understand what our pets were saying.
What would you say to your dog if they could speak back?
Say hello to our glamorous assistant Mr.Pickles!
Mr.Pickles comes to see us every 4 weeks for a groom and a teeth clean.
He has taken the teeth cleaning process in his stride, and has quickly learnt that even though the toothpaste may not taste the best, the treats he receives as a reward certainly do!
If you have any questions about teeth cleaning, or think that your dog may benefit from it, don't hesitate to ask. We'll be happy to help😁
Say hello to the lovely and lively Nell!
A happy volunteer to try out our Snuffle and Licky Mats.
Filled with tasty treats, they are a great form of enrichment used to get your dogs noses (and mouths) working.
5⭐ review from Nell!
The insense stare when he realises hes been caught on camera🤣

Seth's Mum says he's not very good at catching.
Seth would like everyone to know he is amazing at catching, especially if it's cheese! 😁
Chester needs his teeth cleaning, but before I just stick a toothbrush in his mouth, I start to teach him what to expect.
Most dogs have never had their teeth touched by a human, and they find it weird to begin with.
In this video I'm demonstrating how I start the teeth cleaning process with a dog who's new to it.
Chester is already used to me holding his face and touching a tooth with my finger, he's also had the opportunity to sniff and lick at the toothpaste which he found acceptable.
Here I'm adding in a little bit of toothpaste on my finger to acclimatise him to the taste as I touch his teeth.
You can hear in the video that I tell him what I'm about to do, then use the word good to let him know he was still and that's what I wanted. He then gets a treat.
This process gets repeated, and we then add in the toothbrush.
Short sessions to start with as the dog gets used to the exercise.
Chester is standing on a low grooming table here. He isn't wearing any restraints and is free to jump off safely. But because it's clear what I want from him and he can opt out, he's choosing to stay and join in the process.
This is called co-operative care, and is something I'm super excited to start teaching in the salon in 2023.
I use this method with my own dogs to prepare for vet visits and grooming. Things like teeth cleaning, blood draws, injections, general check ups, suddenly become easy when your dog already knows what is expected. No more fighting your Vets & Groomers!
Is this something you'd like to learn?
A little Wilson adorableness for your Sunday afternoon 💜
This little fella doesn't like being groomed, luckily for him he has a wonderfully dedicated human who brings him to see us every four weeks.
Seeing him regularly means that we can groom little and often. We don't have to get everything done in one go and sessions are short and sweet.
He never has the tidiest toes, but when you're this cute no one notices a few fluffy edges 🥹🐾
Meet Molly the Labrador.
This was Molly's first time with us, and her first ever visit to a grooming salon!
We never take for granted how a dog will feel about being groomed for the first time.
There's a lot for them to take in, it's a new environment, new people, strange smells, loud equipment.
We gave Molly time to settle in when she arrived, along with plenty of treats. And then carefully introduced the bath, dryers and table to her.
She was a Rockstar and took the whole process in her stride.
We're sure she felt fresh as a daisy after leaving all that hair behind!
She's all fresh now and ready for her holiday 🌼
Check out those pom poms 🐩
Isn't Willow a beauty 😍
This sweet little lady is Molly the Cockapoo.
When Molly first started coming to us she was very nervous, would put herself away in a crate and wouldnt take treats. Over time she has gained in confidence, and although the crate is still her safe space, she now happily takes treats from us, which is amazing to see! We are very proud of Molly and her progess with us🥰
