✨✨✨ CHRISTMAS APPEAL 2025 ✨✨✨
Over the last 18 months, we’ve found loving homes for 1,697 dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and other animals in our area. Our Clinic has treated an amazing 8,725 animals in need of specialist care – just like this pup. This Christmas, could you donate to help us continue this vital medical work and support to animals who are suffering in our community? 🙏🎄

📣 Calling all dog owners! To help keep our furry companions safe, here’s some important information we want to remind you of:
🐾 When welcoming a new dog, please ensure you get it from a reputable seller. Be wary of sales on social media platforms, as they may be scams or involve illegal breeders keeping animals in poor conditions.
🐾 It's been a legal requirement for over 10 years for the majority of dogs to be microchipped with the correct information and contact details of the owner. It only takes seconds and could save you a lot of money and heartache should you be separated!
🐾 We are required to collect stray dogs and we charge to look after them for up to 7 days, in the hope that we are able to reunite them with their owner. “In 2024/25 our dog warden service collected 181 dogs and less than 13% were correctly microchipped”.
🐾 If you're going away this Christmas and are looking for home boarding for your dog, protect your pooch by making sure you choose a licensed boarder. An unlicensed boarder may be cheaper, but a licensed boarder will have been visited by a qualified Animal Inspector ensuring the best care for your pet.

Sadly Barry is looking for a new chapter in his young life. His owner recently passed away. Despite this big change, Barry has taken everything in his stride. When you first approach him, he can be a little head shy. He needs a moment to to feel safe and secure. Once he feels comfortable, he does enjoy fuss and attention and he will lean in for cuddles. Like many Cockapoos, Barry enjoys his walks and is looking for an owner who can keep up with him on his daily adventures. Barry just needs a little patience and understanding as he adjusts to a new life. An adult home is preferred. And he will need access to a secure, owned garden to play and have further training. He gets on well with other dogs so he could live with another. He has also lived with cats in his previous home. Could you offer Barry security? Antibiotics are doing their job, but I'm still having voice issues.

Also we're close to bonfire night, so maybe not such a bad idea to miss it.
