Today we held an Elite trial at Mangapps Railway Museum
The wind played an unfriendly part in the search areas, both inside and out but some lovely searches.

This weekend in my role as Co-founder of The National Nosework Association I judged our first Title Challenge which was open to teams who had achieved their Skill Awards at the Excellent Stage which is a wonderful achievement in itself.
It was a great weekend and I got to see some fantastic teams working across the 2 days.
3 of those teams were ours and they each came home with their certificate of achievement, their award and the accolade of their dogs being NNA Excellent Title holders and able to use the post-nominals NNA ET.
Amazing work by Sue & Luther and Rachel & Bramble who were with us yesterday and Sharon & Fudge who were there today.
I am incredibly proud of the their dedication and commitment to their training and the skill that shine through during the challenge.
Well done to all 3 of you.

Good luck to all those teams taking part over the weekend

Tomorrow sees a weekend of some of the TOP Sport Scentwork teams in the country searching for their first ever Titles.

These teams have proved they can work the NNA’s take on ORT’s, have had fun searching a huge variety of indoor and outdoor spaces and worked those selection tests effectively!

We will miss those that have qualified but couldn’t make it but there will be more Title Challenge Days in the not too distant future.

Debs & Kami won a Foundation trial our very own Canvey HQ.

Emma & Rukiya got the reserve at a Foundation trial. They staged up and then went and won the Pre-Entry in the afternoon at the Canvey HQ!!!

Natasha & Wilson got reserve at a Pre-Entry trial at Canvey. They have also now staged up to Entry.

Sue & Myka won an Enhanced trial and the Royal Engineers Museum, gained all the badges AND a Synergy!!!

Kim & Evie took the reserve and a full set of badges at an Enhanced trial at the Royal Engineers Museum.

Jo & Flea won an Enhanced trial at Glenwood Academy and have now staged up to Excellent.

Sue & Honey took the reserve at an Enhanced trial at Glenwood Academy.

Luisa & Skye have been super busy they won an Excellent trial at the Riverside Timber Recycling Project, they also won at the 100th Bomb Group Memorial Museuem AND got the reserve at Flixton Air Museum

Fun filled day at HQ today with The National Nosework Association Foundation stage this morning with 2 teams staging up and both taking home a medal.
Debs Channon & Kami took the win and Emma Spamer & Rukiya the reserve.

The afternoon moved on to Pre Entry and some lovely searches today. Another badge for Emma Spamer & Rukiya today with their first win at this stage and reserve was Natasha Woodson & Wilson who also staged up to Entry.

Some great teams today for our The National Nosework Association Enhanced Stage at Royal Engineers Museum.
The weather was every season today with strong sun and then wind and then rain but that didn’t dampen any of their enthusiasm.

Sue Olford & Myka took home the winners medal and a Synergy for their exterior search.
Kim Bristow & Evie took the reserve and a full set of badges.

For those travelling today, please be aware of a serious accident in Rettendon that may well have a knock on effect for your travel times to REM.

A130 - serious road traffic collision

There has been a serious road traffic collision on the A130, at the Rayleigh Spur roundabout.

*Updated* road closures currently in place:

⚠️A1245, towards the A127 and to Sadlers Farm roundabout.
⚠️ A130 is closed in both directions between the Rayleigh Spur roundabout and the Hawk Hill at Rettendon.

The road closures are expected to remain for some time. Please avoid the area.
