HOW IT WORKS
For every £2 donation, a number will be allocated. At the end of the month, one or more winning numbers will be chosen using a random number generator. The total money taken will be divided as follows:
1/ 25% PRIZE MONEY - divided up into £1000 first prize, £750 second prize, then up to £500 prizes thereafter (depending on the prize fund available). If the final prize is less than £100, it will be carried forward and added to next month's prize fund.
Last month there were three prizes.
2/ 25% FOR THE RESCUE OF THE MONTH. For September, it is Many paws rescue in Egypt.
3/ £1 PER VOTE FOR EVERY RESCUE THAT RECEIVES 30 VOTES OR MORE.

Send your payment for however many numbers you want (no limit!) and PLEASE COMMENT ON ONE OF THE POSTS THAT YOU HAVE DONE THIS & IF YOU WISH TO VOTE, STATE THE RESCUE YOU CHOOSE.

VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE RESCUE
Each £2 number in The Doggy Lottery allows one vote for a rescue of your choice. You can vote for a rescue already nominated or choose your own.
AT THE END OF THE MONTH, EVERY RESCUE WITH 30 OR MORE VOTES RECEIVES £1 PER VOTE. To vote, simply comment on a recent post or message the page. Please note that you do not HAVE to vote.

DEDUCTIONS FROM FUND
This is a transparent donation site, so you will always be told of any deductions made. We willingly give our time and energy to run the lottery, plus licensing costs, advertising, printing and other promotional costs free of charge. I love dogs and count this as my small donation to help. Since the lottery began in 2016, no deductions have ever been made and 100% of the takings have gone to Animal Rescues or the winners.

Operated under Licence SL0203 issued to Jane Whittaker, Rescue Rehab and Rehome for Dogs, 44tq58jd by Torbay Council, as per small societies lottery registration, section 11 of the 2005 Act.
You must be aged 16 years and above to play.
Your donations are safely held in a dedicated business bank account, until such time as they are paid out to Animal Rescues and the winner.
