As soon as hand stripping becomes painful for the animal, we will discuss with the owner on whether they would like to proceed with clipping the coat. We will never, ever carry out a service that hurts or causes harm to any animal in our care. Including but not limited to: hand stripping, dematting, teeth cleaning and nail clipping. We made a video for Manny’s Mum to show just how comfortable the hand stripping process was for him at his first ever strip 😍 we love our best boy Manny 💛

Albert’s wonderful Mum went to donate some dog food to the Greyhound Rescue charity & ended up bringing this handsome man home with her 😍 Now the poor lad has to endure having his teeth cleaned, being groomed to perfection & being snuggled by us 🥹 sorry Albert 😂💛

We also had a visit from Ronnie’s brother - absolutely beautiful sable show Cocker, Reggie 😍 He came for a puppy groom in preparation for his first ever handstrip very soon! 🔥 He stood like a rock on the table & was absolutely barmy puppy on the floor 😂 We can’t wait to have these boys back 🥰 see you soon little laddo’s!

We met 9 year old Ollie for the first time today- he is so lovely & calm 🥺🥰

Rusty's previous groomers had struggled to trim his paws & face - just look at this boy now 😍 Keeping pets on a regular grooming schedule is absolutely vital for their training, especially if they aren't overly keen on the process. We have seen dogs actually have to be put under anaesthetic to be groomed 😩 In most cases this can be avoided with cooperation & team work from both pet parents & groomers 💛 Forcing a dog through a groom while they are stressed enough to bite, scratch & thrash about is not the way we work. Something as simple as a haircut should not cause that level of stress & we will never put a haircut before a dog's welfare. We haven't done a full groom on Rusty yet, but his Mum & Dad have been bringing him for shorter sessions to lead up to the big chop & it's working absolute wonders for him. We're so proud of you young man 🥰👏
