My wonderful Collie has taught me so much about why enrichment is so important. I decided to set up Sniffy walks to be able to offer more dogs enriching walks that satisfy them both mentally and physically. I like to really get to know the dogs I walk on a one to one basis. I allow them to sniff, encourage them to sniff and quite often it's a dog led walk... They follow their nose which for them,

is a wonderful adventure. I pride myself in working with anxious dogs and the progress is just fantastic to see. The feedback I have received has been wonderful. I am currently working towards a level 6 advanced diploma in behaviour with the International School of Canine Psychology. My husband now works with me and we have decided this is the best job ever...
I make snuffle mats which are an enriching tool for dogs to use their nose at home. Please get in touch for more information, we have just started offering adventure sniffy walks which are over an hour long, coaching walks to help with loose lead walking, recall, impulse control and walking in many different areas to help build up confidence in the anxious ones.

Super proud of these two today. We worked on duration of indication, line up searches on pots and bags AND a chair search. The chair search blew me away as they were outstanding in finding and targeting tiny pieces of Kong hidden in a vile. It gave me goose bumps watching them work those beautiful noses. 🐾❤️🐾

A little cooler today but that humidity is horrendous for the furry friends. We took it nice and easy and even the off lead gang were just happy having a sniffy mooch about. Our feline friends and holiday bunnies are a delight 🐾❤️🐾

Today we welcomed another beautiful rescue to the gang, she did so well. Breakthrough with another one our rescues who sat on the sofa with me, this literally made my day. Sam has been working with the Malaysian rescue girls and she’s doing so well with them. It all takes time, patience, empathy and love.

Are you a dog owner? Could you volunteer the services of you and your dog for the benefits of others? If so, you may want to consider becoming a member of the Therapy Dog Team.

The Therapy Dog Team provide emotional support for vulnerable people, children and individuals with mental health issues. There may also be occasions where the team provide support to our internal staff and officers.

You would need to attend Kent courts, with most demand at Maidstone Crown Court, helping the force to support the most vulnerable victims and witnesses to give evidence.

Before and after loose walking first session for a beautiful working cocker spaniel and her very determined mum. The environment in itself is a massive distraction with all those amazing scents everywhere.
