Catherine is an avid animal lover who’s IMDT trained (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) and Level 5, Professional Canine Behaviourist (Canine Principles) trained. Catherine is gold member of NARPS, the association of professional dog walkers and pet sitters. Accredited and certified courses covering:

We believe that working to your pets boundaries and time frames are imperative to form a successful bond, so we don't push your pets to do anything they feel uncomfortable about doing. It’s been two weeks since we brought home our little Pumpkin 🎃
…And honestly, we couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful addition to our family! 🙏

She’s cheeky, affectionate, incredibly bright, adores everyone she meets, plays beautifully with other dogs, and has settled in perfectly with her new siblings (who are utterly smitten with her too!) ❤️

What’s also been a really special experience for us, is for the first time, having a puppy whose entire story we know from day one. We know her birthday, her parents, her early experiences, what she finds exciting, what she finds a little scary, and we’ve had the joy of guiding her learning from the very beginning, from her first baby teeth starting to fall out, to those early training steps and positive learning experiences.

As many of you know, our hearts have always been with rescue dogs. All of our previous dogs were rescues, many former strays, who arrived with layers of trauma, fear, and the unknowns that come with a difficult start. Supporting their rehabilitation has shaped who we are as people, and we will welcome more rescues into our home again in the future - that’s an absolute given.

But having Pumpkin, a little soul who has known nothing but safety and kindness, is a new and beautiful experience for us. We’re grateful for the chance to help her grow with confidence from day one, without anything she needs to recover from. 🙏

Here’s to watching her blossom into the happy, secure little girl she’s already becoming 💛🐾

A Special Goodbye to One of Our Long-Time Walkers 💛

Today we’re saying goodbye to this beautiful boy, who we will no longer be walking, but who we’ve had the absolute pleasure of looking after for many years ❤️

He has always been such a sweet boy in our groups and he had no idea he was a tiny dog! 😂 He had a big personality! He loved his beef and cheese treats, cuddly toys, the girls, sitting on the front seat of the car (and demanding chin rubs), and sniffing and weeing on EVERY, single hedge he could find!

As he’s gotten older, his mobility has changed, and it’s now clear that the group walks are just a little too much for him. His comfort and wellbeing will always come first, so it’s time for him to rest, relax, and enjoy his slower, cosier days without pushing himself to catch up with the other dogs.

We’re so grateful to have been part of his life for so long, to have watched him grow, love him, see him make friends, enjoy his walks and bring so much happiness.

He’ll always be part of our Pet Trails family, and we’ll miss seeing his lovely face each week 🥲

Please join us in sending him all the love as he settles into this next, gentler chapter of life. Bye baby boy - we’re going to really miss you! Look after yourself and keep being lovely you! 🥰 💛🐾
