Marlow definitely should’ve been a working spaniel! He just gets too mucky to keep a long coat with all the trimmings. To make life easier for his owners (and him) I’ve taken his legs shorter this time and a nice clean shave for his belly. Let’s see if this helps keep him clean for a few days! 🐾 💖

Missy has been coming to me for just over a year now and has made herself right at home. Her routine is first find my daughter for a fuss. Then she runs into the grooming room and it’s my turn. One of the many benefits for grooming in a home environment. 🐾💖 is a family affair.

I adore Max…ok, maybe I say that about all my dogs. And he’s even cuter in person. Trying to handstrip a wiggly worm is a fun challenge. But Max always rewards me with lots of kisses, even managed to lick my eye yesterday…that’s a first! 😳😂 But look at that face! 🐾💖

Sure is puppy love with Marlow. I just adore him, he runs so excitedly into the garden for a play before we begin…his favourite game is to find the hidden tennis balls. Marlow turns one in 3 weeks and I can see massive improvements with his tolerance of grooming, he’s so much calmer now…until I try and take a pic! 💕🐾.

As the weather heats up it’s been a busy two days. Summer cuts and de shedding galore!

And then I met Lola this afternoon! 3 month of labradoodle and in for her first groom. I can’t wait to see how her fluffy coat develops. I think I told her she was SO CUTE at least 100 times and then she fell asleep in my arms waiting for her owner to arrive. 🐕💖
