What an amazing day all of my babies i took placed,1st and second best new and emerging with my belted my best belted was homebred, best swiss who also got 6th best in show out if 75 on her first show out, best magpie and best satin.

I went out this morning to one of my first time sows who had her litters over night, unfortunately I don't think motherhood comes very natural to her. Three babies had passed when I found them and one beautiful baby was just about alive, he was very cold and just about breathing so I took him out and warmed him up, rushed to the shop to get some goats milk and off to work we went. After a day of tlc we came home this evening. I have brought mum and her beautiful baby boy inside so I can keep a close eye, I have shown him where the milk bar is and he seems to get it mum is starting to love him fingers crossed they build up a nice strong bond.

One of my young magpie sows loving her spinach, I adore this breed they are so cheeky. She also needs a name.

Update he is now called dexter! I absolutely adore this baby magpie boar i really need to think of a name for him any ideas? He's so cheeky and friendly
