Autumn and winter can be a dangerous time for our pets. Due to the darker evenings, road traffic accidents (RTAs) are more likely to happen at this time of year. To keep you and your pets as safe as possible, our vets have shared their top tips 🌃

Cat owners, rest assured, we have an advice post for you too. Keep your eyes peeled next week 🐱

💥 589 days, that's 1 year, 7 months, 9 days, 18 hours and 30 minutes 💥

This is the exact amount of time our poor Stella has been patiently waiting in a kennel for her new chance to find a loving home 😭

We know you've seen this face before but for those of you that haven't let us introduce you to our gorgeous girl Stella ❤️
She was emaciated and living in terrible conditions before she was rescued by RSPCA inspectors and brought into our care but fast forward over a year and she has just gone from strength to strength! She is a very clever girl who is affectionate and very loyal to her bonded people, Stella will plonk herself down on our laps, forgetting how big she is! 😍

Stella can be social with well matched dogs but to allow her the time and space to settle into a real home we are looking for her to be the only animal in that home at this current time 👌

Stella has seen so many dogs during her time with us find a home, has had lots of walks on the same field and has now seen her 2nd Christmas tree go up! 😣
This lovely girl is just waiting to be given a new lease of life, can you help her?! 🥹

✨ We understand that not everyone can adopt a dog like Stella, but we do ask if you can share her, talk to your friends about her and just use the powers of social media to help us find this truly beautiful dog a house she deserves after everything she's been through ✨

It's difficult suffering from anxiety and unfortunately our precious pooches can experience this too 🥺

Being very sociable animals, dogs need plenty of human companionship to feel safe and happy. When they are left alone, some dogs can feel distressed.

The return to work and school after the summer holidays can be a big change for dogs, so it's super important to understand the signs of separation anxiety and what you can do to prevent it ❤️
