Since setting up Mollycoddles Pet Care the demand for my services has been higher than anticipated, especially over school holidays. Rather than turn doggie clients away I would like to be able to offer them alternative accommodation. Therefore, I am looking for like minded animal lovers who would be interested in looking after dogs in their own home. If you, or anyone you know, think you might like to become a carer and join Mollycoddles Pet Care, please send us an email and we can give you some more information on how you can help. I would be happy for you to take just an occasional dog or as many bookings as you wish. As a carer, you will be expected to feed, walk and care for the dogs as their owner's would.

*NEW HOME DOG BOARDER* We are pleased to announce we have a new team member, Alice! Alice lives in Dorridge with her parents and Dexter the (very young looking) 11 year old Cockerpoo. Alice volunteers for a local charity part-time from home, so has plenty of time to look after/pamper your dog. She is doggie first aid trained and has completed the Animal Care Management Course at Solihull College.

Alice loves all dogs but, due to her allergies, can only look after hypo-allergenic pooches.

If you have previously contacted us but we weren't able to help then please don't hesitate to get in touch again if you think your dog would fit in well with Alice and her family in their lovely home in Dorridge 🐾

🐴 Team Training - ever thought about being a member or joining the Solihull Riding Club teams? We’re running taster sessions over the Arena Eventing course at 60cm, 70cm and 80cm with one of our trainers Sally Baker. Sally’s sessions are fun, encouraging and open to everyone.

Daisy the "School Dog" we walk had a reunion with her siblings recently - love this video her owner sent to me. She looks like she's having sooo much fun 😍

This is Daisy, one of my lovely furry customers. Daisy is being trained as a school dog to help teach children non-violence, empathy, respect, kindness, love, responsibility, friendship and trust. A wonderful initiative by the charity Dogs Helping Kids. http://www.dogshelpingkids.co.uk/

Happy Birthday to Dexter - 1 Year Old today!!!! Where has the time gone? Have loved looking after this cheeky chappy - first puppy visits to his home, out into the garden, a spot of lunch and a play. Then a little walk down the road which gradually got longer and longer. Now he's a big boy and has joined the group walks and loves playing with his buddies Dillon and Kayla ######

Looked after two rather smart Crufts dogs at the weekend - one of whom came 2nd in their class :) Also, had a very cute puppy Bolognese come visit us. Hopefully, Merlin will qualify for next year and then I will get to see him again <3

Had a lovely weekend in Bristol with the girls. Our first port of call was a pub full of cats! And our last place to visit was a pub (again) full of dogs! Even when I'm away I need my fur fix :D

I would like to introduce the newest member of our dog walking team the lovely Lucy. Having qualified as a Veterinary Care Assistant in 2010 Lucy then went on to work in the veterinary industry for 6 years. Now that she has a young family to look after, luckily for us, dog walking fits in perfectly and means she can still get to be around the animals she adores so much and we get a super knowledgeable Dog Walker. Lucy currently has a cat called George but has had German Shepherds in the past. She will be covering the Wythall, Hollywood, Tidbury Green & Dickens Heath areas.

Our Story

I set up Mollycoddles in the Summer of 2011 in order to follow my life long dream of working with animals. I’ve met so many wonderful pets and their owners it has been an absolute joy. Unfortunately, I just can’t look after every dog myself so I now have a small team of dog lovers to welcome your dog(s) into their homes. All are checked by myself for suitability and by Solihull Council before acquiring their Home Boarding Licence. We look after your dog as if he/she were our own and love it when we see the same ones come back time and time again. Not even hesitating at the doorstep when they realise where they are. I think our dog parents sometimes aren’t quite sure whether to be happy or sad about that hehe!

We are happy to message or call, send photos or even videos of your dog as often as you would like so that you can see what they are up to whilst you are away.

All of our doggie guests must be fully house trained, well behaved and not show any sign of aggression towards either humans or other dogs.

We offer a range of services along side the Home Boarding in order to help you balance your busy life with the pets you love such as Doggie Day Care, Dog Walking, Puppy Visits & Cat Visits.
