Do come and join us this Wednesday evening 19 th June for clear round jumping plus if you want to book a lovely hack around all the fields - add that into your bookings. We start at 5.30pm and entries close Tuesday 18th at 4pm.

⭐️Saturday 22nd June the brilliant Emma Taylor is back with indoor Working Equitation ( 6 spaces)

⭐️Saturday 22nd we have our outdoor arena with a course of SJ to hire and then a 30 min hack around our fields.

⭐️Sunday 23rd June both the indoor arena and the outdoor arena with SJ are available to hire and again a 30 minute hack. A hot drink and cake included for afterwards.

Don’t forget next Wednesday evening 19th June we have clear round showjumping and an additional 30 minute hack around our 45 acres of hayfields 🌼

Clear round starts at 5.30pm with cross poles and then usually finishes at 7.30pm at 1m depending on entries.

You can book just clear round or add the hack in too - great to go in pairs.
Clear round rosettes, polos and hot drinks, squash and cakes available with cash please in our honestly box.

Entries online and close Tuesday 18th at midday and times emailed on Tuesday 18th June at 4pm.

The highest scorer of the whole day went to Thailand Blanche riding Bobo scoring 72.19% in Intro A followed closely by Lesley Dulson riding Eddie scoring 71.25 % in Novice 28🤩

Well done to everybody else. It was a lovely relaxed day and it’s great seeing new faces each month !

We had a wonderful day here yesterday opening our grounds for the first of our Summer off road Buttercup rides. 30 minutes around our 50 acres of hay fields and the weather was glorious ☀️

We have some new Wednesday evening ride slots available to coincide with our evening clear round dates.
The rides start at 4.30pm -7.30pm and are £15.00 per pair - perfect for after school or work and you have the fields to yourself and a drink and cake on your return

Dates to book are Wednesday 19th June, 10th July, 24th July, 7th August, 21st August, 21st August and 11th September.

Anyone wishing to book clear round on the evening too will receive a £5.00 discount on the ride.

All entries close 4pm the day before.

⭐️After an unannounced BHS inspection, we are delighted to receive highly commended in all areas as not only an approved livery yard but facility hire centre ⭐️

The inspector noted

“The livery service is professionally run, and the horse's health and well-being, along with customer care, are at the centre of the business.”

After restructuring the business in 2023 we have been able to provide not only more events and hire of facilities too to external member bodies, but to also ensure all the liveries have a more diverse choice of events on site.

We have had a great couple of British Dressage - North & West Region shows this weekend! Thank you everyone who supported us and we had bumper entries 🏵️

The highest score of the day on Saturday went to Jill Bransby and her new ride Swanmore Diablo scoring 71.04% in Prelim 19 👏👏

Today we were lucky with warm weather again and highest score of the day went to Martha Eldred riding Diamond Dove, scoring 72.22% 🎶👏👏
A special mention to Victoria Pritchard riding Do away with 2, scoring 67.77 % in her first ever novice fsm 🎶👏👏

We are opening our fields for a 30 minute ride around our beautiful fields. Only £15.00 and bring a friend too for a quiet hack off road and all mapped out for you.

Dates for your Diary this Summer ☀️

After such a washout Winter and Spring, we have some rare weekend dates with no competitions on where we will be hosting some ‘Hire and Hack’ events.

Hourly slots starting 9am-2pm on the below dates where you can hire the arenas with a friend for 30 minutes, then a 30 minute hack around our fabulous 45 acres of beautiful fields.

If you don’t fancy the hacking- then the arena is yours for the whole hour.
Only £30.00 and bring a friend for free. All the fields are mapped out around the edges and you can enjoy a traffic free tranquil hack !

Dates below show whether you’ll be hiring the indoor only plus a hack or you can choose where dates available to hire a full course of our Jump 4 Joy jumps in our outdoor arena then a hack.

2nd June -hack only, bookable as course hire.
15th June - indoor plus hack.
22nd June- outdoor with SJ plus hack.
23rd June - both arenas available plus hack.
7th July - indoor plus hack
4th August -indoor plus hack.

Lovely quiet venue with a caller available and extra time for arena familiarisation and lovely rosettes to 10th place in each class🏵️

Relaxed dress rules, no need to plait but we have BD tack rules please and remember your 2 numbers 👍

The perfect venue for first timers, young horses or if you are travelling without help. Home made cakes and rolls either great coffee too!

We have had a great couple of British Dressage - North & West Region shows this weekend! Thank you everyone who supported us!

The highest score of the day on Saturday went to William Roberts riding Saint Tropez scoring 72.75% in Medium 61. followed closely by his other ride, Lenika scoring 71.72 % in the same class 👏👏

Today the weather put a few of the early riders off, but the highest score of the day went to Alex Houldcroft riding Bardot Herself scoring 70.58% in the Elem fsm just pipping Sue Millington and Montenegro II, who scored 70.55% in the novice fsm 🎶👏👏

The highest scoring combination in this afternoon’s long arena Unaffilated classes went to Savannah Lloyd riding Hercules XCV scoring 66.91% in Elem 53👏👏

This weekend is our double date of BD shows!

On Saturday 27th we have Prelim to Medium levels and on Sunday 28th we have fsm classes and advanced medium straight classes. After the fsm classes on Sunday, we then have long arena unafilliated classes from prelim - advanced medium level.

Our double weekend classes are sponsored by the fabulous Sharron Harrington Art - some of her work is framed in both the clubhouse and refreshment room ! 🎨
Do give her a follow on socials, she runs art workshops too suitable for beginners and is based in Stratford Upon Avon.

The weather looks good again and a great chance to get those points !

⭐️Dressage Boot Camp ⭐️

Calling all Senior, Para and Youth riders 📣

Myself and Jemma Bentley Dressage will be hosting another training day here at Swallowfield EC on Friday 31st May.

Half a day’s training consisting of a paired 45 min coached session with Jemma with another rider at the same level.

A 40 minute private test riding session indoors with me, riding a test of your choice ( long, short, new or running through a freestyle pattern)

TopSpec will be here with a weighbridge too and some feeding advice and a goodie bag 😍

If you need a day stable do contact us directly and only 12 spaces available.

On Sunday 21st we are hosting our popular British Dressage - Quest Club show, followed by Trailblazers first round qualifiers. The tests we are using for these will be the same as our second round finals on Saturday 18th May, so come along for a practice!

This date is open to qualified riders and is live to book on our website. The last date here for qualifying is 4th May, so you can have a practice of the tests you have qualified for!

As always we have our band of lovely judges and stewards, Tina Kazmi, Sue, Gudge, Marie Bak, Lizzie Burford and Genie Creamer for the weekend 👍

Don’t forget this week we have indoor arena hire and outdoor SJ hire!

This Saturday 13th April we have indoor arena hire 9am-12.45pm at only £15.00 for 45 minutes and why not bring a friend and an instructor. 👍

Followed by outdoor clear round SJ ( warm up indoors ) and entries close Friday midday and times emailed Friday at 4pm.
We will start at 1.15pm after our morning indoor arena hire.

Sunday 14th we have indoor Working Equitation with Emma Taylor and we have one space available 11.30-12.30pm -bookings on our website.

Sunday 14th we also have a rare weekend outdoor arena hire with full course of showjumps £25 for 45 mins and bring 2 friends for £5.00 each on the day ( and it looks dry !! )

Next weekend it’s back to dressage with our popular Stressless series on Saturday 20th and on Sunday 21st we have Quest followed by Trailblazers first round Q in the afternoon.

Well done everyone who joined us here yesterday for British Dressage - Quest Club and Trailblazers qualifiers.

Date for your diary - our second round Trailblazers show is Saturday 18th May - plenty of time to qualify ! Our next two Trailblazers shows are the same tests as the second rounds, so you can practice your test!

On Thursday 16th May - why not book on British Dressage - North & West Region Test Riding clinic here with myself and Richard Baldwin for some pre second round test riding tips ? You book on via the NW BD horsemonkey link.

⭐️The highest scoring Senior Team Quest went to Bridle Party 👏👏

Tammie Huntley from Bridle Party riding Jordan Well Darcey also had the highest % of the all Quest riders scoring 69.78% in Intro A 🤩
Tammie wins a fabulous prize from Georgie Turner Artist

⭐️ The highest % of the Trailblazers combinations in the afternoon went to Kate Guy riding Acordes scoring 73.69 % in Intro C who also wins a prize from Georgie 👏👏

Don’t forget this Saturday 6th April is our next British Dressage - Quest Club show followed by Trailblazers first round qualifiers.
Our second round Trailblazer date is Saturday 17th May, open to qualified riders and is live to book on our website. We have added the classes we are using for the second rounds into the final two qualifying dates on 21st April and 4th May, so you can have a practice of the tests you have qualified for. !

If you missed our last show, we are thrilled to announce our Quest and Trailblazer rosette sponsor for this Spring is Georgie Turner Artist🎨🖌️

Georgie will be changing the prizes at each of these shows- so polish up your test riding skills as points mean prizes !

Georgie is a colour pencil artist from Stratford-upon-Avon and takes inspiration from the countryside around her for her drawings. Georgie mainly draws horses, British wildlife and farm animals, with the odd dog portrait thrown in for good measure. As well as creating original pieces of wall art and bespoke pet portraits, Georgie sells a range of homewares featuring her hand drawn designs. She has recently exhibited at The National Equine show and is due to exhibit at The Game Fair in July.
