☀️☀️☀️ WARM WEATHER WALKS ☀️☀️☀️

Next week is meant to be really warm - although it wouldn’t surprise me if we had rain. We’re starting early next week so walks will be earlier, shorter or replaced by garden visits where appropriate.

Please can you let me know your walking requirements ASAP so I can make a plan for the warm weather.

Evening all.

I don’t tend to post much during the week these days, usually I’m just too exhausted and tend to wait for my days off (from paid work) but desperate times n all that 🥴

It’s been a right old week and it’s only Wednesday!!

So a couple of weeks back I posted about various poundies. Poundies are dogs that have unfortunately found themselves in the dog pound and not been claimed. This (despite what some believe) puts them massively at risk. For rescues it can make it hard to place them in foster homes because we don’t know the dogs or their history, but we use what information we do have to try and get these dogs safe.

Of the four pound dogs we posted recently we have managed to get two out, old boy and the chow, aka Marley and Brandy. We have checks going through for the merle boy but the little black boy has nothing. He is now seriously at risk as he has gone way beyond his 7 days. He’s only a baby, no more than 2 - if even that.

So we are literally begging you to get this boy viral. We know hes young, we also know he is very bouncy and full of energy so he would need an active home, also a home that is experienced in the slight nuttiness that young bull breed dogs bring with them. This absolutely doesn’t make them bad dogs, it just means that they get given up on far too easily. This is really sad as given a bit of time and effort they make the best companions.

Homes are subject to a homecheck, for skippy (if you know why I am calling him that then you are as old as me 🙈) we are saying no young children, he may be ok living with another dog but you must have the ability to seperate safely and the patience to do this for as long as it takes. He is not tested with cats, we wouldn’t risk your cat so please don’t ask.

Look at that little face and help us to help him. Even just a simple share is a huge help, you never know who will see it, it could be Skippys person! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

The clock is ticking now. Skippy needs all of us to give him the lifeline he urgently needs.
