Today is the busiest day we will have done since opening... a total of 18 hours of cleaning for me and Judith today working together most of the day ❤️.

We now won't be taking any more cleans on until after Christmas due to increasing demand this side of Christmas ❤️❤️.

Polite notice..
Please can me and Judith ask if you are poorly or anyone in the house is to let us know, and we will reschedule your clean when everyone is better ❤️. We both have plans with our families over the next few weeks, including small babies and older parents. We would much rather work later one night, then become ill and miss out on the celebrations. Also it means if we are unwell we can't work either, and this is a very busy time for us. ❤️❤️❤️.

Who are we and what's our story.... this a bit of a heartfelt post.

How was Bailey's Chores created ? and why...

In April I was made redundant and if I am totally honest I was heartbroken, I had been an estate agent for 10 years and I didn't really know anything different as I left my previous career in Childcare 10 years ago , things in childcare change all the time so I knew this wouldn't be an easy step back into childcare. I previously ran a business called Tots play ,a baby group, I still have all of the equipment, would this have been the next option to reset up?

After processing the redundancy and painting nearly the whole house and garden 🤣. I decided I needed to make some decisions but I realised how much happier I was being at home and spending more time doing activities with Alfie, I got to go school leavers and much much more.. before I would have missed all of this.

So I sat down with my husband and said, "You know I have always said I would like to run a cleaning business... would you support me whilst I set it up? He said yes ❤️ and Bailey's Chores was created.

My very first customer was my husbands auntie, and I was so worried, as I had never cleaned for anyone else.. yes, I like my own house to be spotless but would I be good enough for customers? Returning home after my first clean, I knew I had done the right thing.

Fast forward a month or two and we now clean for over 30 customers and counting.. we have 5 star customer reviews, I have made some friends along the way ❤️.

I honestly can't describe to everyone how much this makes my heart full. From the days in April where I worried how the bills would be paid until now and that is thanks to all my wonderful customers and family ❤️. THANK YOU SO MUCH. And the best of it all.. I pick my own hours to work and be with my family ❤️. So my work clothes are definitely hung up and the gym clothes plus no make up is the new work gear.

Ready for a busy week ahead ❤️.

We spent the weekend getting rid of rubbish in our house ready for Christmas.

I really feel like winter makes me want to get rid of all the rubbish and refresh the house ready for weekends at home instead of being out .

I'm such a home girl in the winter. ... anyone else feel the same?
