Welcome to our new pups Roscoe & Bibi who started the first stage of their Training Journey with us last Friday. Sign up for a 3 session Puppy Socialisation course aimed at partially vaccinated pups and to capitalise on the critical socialisation period. Every Friday at 1pm at Vets4Pets Solihull, upstairs at Pets at Home.

Sophie White, ABTC Registered Veterinary Behaviourist and Clinical Animal Behaviourist says, “Using background music can help mask the sudden and unpredictable firework sounds from outside. Music with more base, like that on Bonfire Ballads: Soothing Songs to Calm Your Pet, often muffles the percussive bangs quite effectively. Wow what a busy station Dorridge was for our Friday afternoon Top Dogs - Out & About. Lots of opportunities to desensitise and build confidence around cafes, pubs, trains, people and lifts etc resdy for our train journey next week and all the dogs did really well, especially little Joey. Join us for our next 8 week long Young Pups Obedience and Socialisation course which starts next Wednesday eve at Solihull Riding club at 18.30pm and teach your pups all the basics to help them to fit in with your life. We start outside and then move to the warm-up arena undercover when we lose the light. We cover Recall, Lead walking, Lie down, Sit, Paw and extend behaviours with the 3 D’s: distance, duration & distraction!

Our August Puppy Socialisation course starts next Friday at 1pm at Vets4Pets, upstairs at Pets at Home in Solihull. Remember the critical socialisation period when ends at 14-16 weeks so the earlier you get your pup experiencing all our world has to offer, the better!

Cody and Mac who were at our Puppy Socialisation course have continued their class journey with us and are hoping to see Nellie when she is back from Wales next week 🤞They were joined by Lucy, Ash and June on Tuesday night and it was a great 1st class of Young Pups Obedience and Socialisation 👏
