Sophie White, ABTC Registered Veterinary Behaviourist and Clinical Animal Behaviourist says, “Using background music can help mask the sudden and unpredictable firework sounds from outside. Music with more base, like that on Bonfire Ballads: Soothing Songs to Calm Your Pet, often muffles the percussive bangs quite effectively. Wow what a busy station Dorridge was for our Friday afternoon Top Dogs - Out & About. Lots of opportunities to desensitise and build confidence around cafes, pubs, trains, people and lifts etc resdy for our train journey next week and all the dogs did really well, especially little Joey. We start outside and then move to the warm-up arena undercover when we lose the light.
