Happy Howloween!!
Here’s a few of the little monsters, goblins & ghouls who visited me throughout Spooktober! Enjoy! x
There is nothing more mesmerisingly beautiful than a Japanese Spitz in full flight. Ghost by name, Ghost by nature. My Yoshi bear 💙
Here is a little recap of some of my visitors throughout September. See how many gorgeous faces you recognise! xx

When I’m not in the salon grooming your dogs, I’m out there pounding the pavements for the love of running. 16 weeks of hard training and now it’s only 3 days away! So excited! 🥳🏃🏼♀️#brightonmarathonweekend #brightonmarathon2024
Does anyone else’s dog like to make snow angels too?! 😂😂
The many poses of Hudson!
When I’ve mentioned hand stripping before, I’ve been asked what it is. So here it is!
Lovely senior, Eave the Border Terrier has been stripped all her life. It’s a very gentle process of removing the top coat from the roots, leaving the soft undercoat. Only a few coat types are suitable for hand stripping. Silky spaniels & Setters and wirey terriers are traditionally hand stripped. This maintains the correct colour & texture.
Although not all dogs of these types can be stripped as genetics, neutering, health, age & diet can all affect the coat. Also not all dogs will tolerate it so for them, clipping is the best option.
There are several tools available such as knives & stones, which help to make the job easier. I prefer latex gloves. They give a just enough grip, while being extremely gentle.
For some unknown reason, even though I’m right handed, I always strip with my left!

A few cheeky faces for you to all enjoy! x
