Kicking the year off strong! Confirmed ground dates for Brook Farm TC 🤩

All sessions run from 7:30pm- 8:30pm

- Jan: 7th & 28th

- Feb: 11th & 25th

- March: 4th & 18th

Mounted session dates will be following in the next week 😁

All ground sessions are open to anyone, including those who would like to have a go at horse archery. A perfect opportunity to learn the technique before bringing horses in 😉

Fantastic shooting last night from all of our members 🤩

Good fun shooting the first leg of EJM Horseback Archery Winter Postal League. Strongly encourage everyone to join in and have a go. Its certainly bringing out a bit of competitiveness amongst the Essex team 🤭😉

We aren’t entirely sure what Miss Cats name is but every training session she always appears for a cuddle 🥰

Miss Cat enjoys rolling around on the ground, providing a fantastic distraction when trying to concentrate 😂

Been a bit of radio silence on here - sorry 🙈

I took a bit of time off from the horse archery after Jack and Is freak accident back at the start of June. Unfortunately this affected me a lot more than I realised and I found I was struggling to teach as the anxiety it could happen to a student kept bubbling to the top. Hobbling around on one leg for 10 weeks also meant I wasn’t in a safe enough position to be able move out of the way when exposing new horses to the sport - hence why there wasn’t any clinics advertised for a while!

Disappointedly we missed competing at Nationals. Neither of us were in a well enough position to warrant being anywhere near an archery track. But instead I got to still tag along and help judge and have a catch up with everyone 😁

I didn’t get on Jack for 16 weeks until I plucked up the courage on Wednesday to take him out for a bit of XC as it’s something we both love doing 🥰 I knew we needed a confidence builder away from being in a school or down a track and he has been such an ace star looking after Heather, mum and Lewis who kindly filled in for me keeping him ticking over.

My boy is a trooper with a heart of gold. He protected me that night and made sure I didn’t get crushed. The healing journey we’ve both been on has been a long one. I still can’t canter on him or pick up a bow to shoot mounted as it is too anxiety inducing but one day we will both be back flying down an archery track again 💙

I am now back teaching and clinic dates will be coming out soon, a big thanks to everyone who has patiently waited 🥰🩷

Now back on my feet and even more so after a relaxing few days away in Wales 😌

Thank you all for your patience over the last few weeks! We will be back to Brook Farm next Tuesday (6th August)at 7:30pm 🤩

A great throwback to the National Championships held a few years ago.

One of my missions when I was elected as the Events Director was to have a Grass Roots Nationals take place and i'm super excited to say alongside this years National Championships there is also a Grass Roots Championships being held!!!😁
