Buzz has unfortunately been returned to the shelter after only 3 weeks in his new home :-(

Buzz was rehomed recently and his adopters spent quite some time building a wonderful bond with him so that he could take the steps to transition to a move to their home.

Unfortunately, after only 3 weeks of being in the home, on an occasion that Buzz was left, he caused some damage to a carpet and was returned to the shelter.

Buzz has been in kennels for over 2 years so adjusting to a new environment , homelife and routine will require someone who has the same experience, patience and understanding that building a bond with him would require.

Buzz was non destructive throughout his time in kennels so we feel that once settled, this anxiety would cease once he is comfortable in his new surroundings and routine.

We are therefore seeking a new home for our Buzz as he is confused with being back in the kennels :-(

He is a 3.5year old real sweetheart who loves a cuddle and the freedom of burning off some energy in our offlead paddock.

Buzz can be nervous around new people, so he does require some understanding and time to accept someone new into his space. He has hugely improved with this since being in our care. This is bourne simply out of insecurity and once he knows you, he is a very sweet and affectionate boy.

Buzz walks well on a lead but can react to some dogs when passing, particularly if they are walking towards him. He can be distracted with treats to keep his attention focus, but this will need someone with experience of this issue in order to continue training and manage this.

Despite him reacting to other dogs that he doesn't know, he has made some pals whilst here, and he loves a play and a walk with the dogs that he has grown to know and like. These are dogs of a similar size and energy level to him. With this in mind, we wouldn't rule out placing Buzz in an experienced home with another dog, subject to the right match and successful meet and greets.

We are looking for an experienced , calm, child free home for Buzz where he can continue to gain confidence in people and life in general.

He cannot be rehomed with cats or small furries.

We have another puppy looking for a home who came in via the stray system :-(

This little delight, is Angel - She is still only around 8 to 9 weeks old and has found her little self in this awful prediciment through no fault of her own :-(

Angel will grow into a medium to large crossbreed dog and we are looking for a home who can give her the training, time and patience needed to help her develop into a well rounded adult dog.

Despite her being let down by humans so far in her short little life, Angel is a confident girl who is showing that she is adventurous and waiting to seize all that life can give her with the right guidance.

She is suitable to be rehomed with another dog subject to the right match and successful meet and greets,

We would be able to rehome her with older dog savvy children.

****** TARGET ACHEIVED - THANK YOU EVERYONE SO MUCH - WE WILL POST A PROUD PHOTO OF OUR NEW TUMBLE DRYER WHEN IT ARRIVES - XX **************

Eeeeeeek - This is our never ending pile of washing which is patiently waiting for its turn in our single tumble dryer after our second one had to toddle off to tumble dryer heaven :-(

As you can see, our pile is HUGEEEEE , and this only gets bigger as the day goes on. We cannot keep up with the drying and we are having to throw away valuable bedding supplies, which then also impacts our bin capacity and disposal costs....

We are therefore asking for help to try and raise funds to purchase another second dryer to help us keep up with our washing piles.....

Please, if you can help us by sparing a pound or two, we would be so grateful . Our Target is £329.00 .

Several years ago we were lucky enough to have a group of students come and decorate our dog runs making them bright and exciting but with years of weathering they are looking rather tired and are in need of a spruce up! 😄

Little Izabelle is a 2 1/2 year old little sausage who is looking for a relatively calm home.
She is suitable to be rehomed with another calmer dog of a similar size subject to the right match and successful meet and greets.

This adorable wee cherub, is Falkor - He is a Maltese x Chihuahua who is around 16 weeks old, who, believe it or not, came into our care after being handed in as a stray :-(

We are hoping that his search for a new home is not going to be a Never Ending Story :-)

Falkor is a little turbo charged bundle of energy who is showing all the signs of being a confident, energetic, family orientated friendly little dog.

We are looking for a home within the Hull and East Riding area, who can give him the start in life that he has missed out on with ending up in the stray kennels - He will need a home who is willing to give a young dog what he needs, training, time, consistency and patience, so that he can develop into a well rounded, adolescent dog.

He would be suitable to live with dog savvy children over the age of 5 years.

He may be suitable to live in a home with dog savvy cats, with the right introductions.

He is quite 'full on' when mixing with other dogs, therefore any potential doggie brother or sister would need to match the energy levels and be able to teach this little whipper snapper some manners and boundaries :-)

Alfie is a super sweet little Chihuahua cross of around 4 years old and is looking for a new home after a change in his owners circumstances.

Alfie is a little bundle of fun, fuss and energy who loves to jump on your knee for kisses and attention.

He may be suitable to live with dog savvy children over the age of 10 years.

He was originally rehomed with another dog but he wasn't keen on having to share his things. Because of this, we will looking for a home where he will be the only dog.

Please welcome another newbie - Malcolm :-)

Malcolm is a 4 year old ex racing greyhound who is now looking for a comfy home to call his own, and to spend his days lolling around and enjoying some TLC and relaxation .

He is a friendly , happy lad who loves his zoomies around our secure paddock , before returning to his bedroom for some snooze time.

Malcolm is used to being around other greyhounds and he enjoys a walks with other dogs from the shelter - especially other similar breeds.

We can rehome him with another dog of a similar breed , size and energy level subject to the right match and successful meet and greets.

He is not suitable to be rehomed with cats or small furries.

He is suitable to rehomed with dog savvy children over the age of 10 years.
